HOWE Records will release a soundtrack album for the French family fantasy adventure The Lost Prince (Le prince oublié). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silence of the Lambs, The Aviator, The Departed, Spotlight). Also included is the original song Tell Me a Story written by the composer and performed by Natalie Prass, as well as the song Papa performed by Fantine. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 12 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. The Lost Prince is directed by Michel Hazanavicius (The Artist) and stars Omar Sy, François Damiens and Bérénice Bejo. The movie revolves around a devoted single father who takes his daughter into “Storyland”, a fantasy film studio where their extraordinary fairytale adventures come to life. The show is created by Liz Tigelaar (Life Unexpected, Casual) and stars Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Joshua Jackson, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jade Pettyjohn, Jordan Elsass, Gavin Lewis, Megan Stott, Lexi Underwood and Huang Lu. The film is directed by Pat Kondelis (Disgraced) and tells the story of Christian Dawkins who was convicted in federal court in the biggest criminal case in collegiate sports history. The movie chronicles the extensive two-year undercover FBI investigation into college basketball corruption that came to a dramatic climax in 2017 when Adidas executives and assistant coaches at major college programs were arrested in a pay-for-play scheme. Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1981 fantasy adventure Time Bandits co-written, directed and produced by Terry Gilliam and starring Sean Connery, John Cleese, Shelley Duvall, Ralph Richardson, Katherine Helmond, Ian Holm, Michael Palin, Peter Vaughan and David Warner. The album features the original score from the HandMade Films production composed by Mike Moran (Water, The Missionary). Also included is the end credits song Dream Away by George Harrison. Hildur Guðnadóttir was honored with her first Academy Award for her score for Todd Phillips’ Joker at tonight’s 92nd Oscar ceremony.
