Decca Records has released a new soundtrack album for the 2016 musical comedy drama Sing Street written and directed by John Carney and starring Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Lucy Boynton, Aidan Gillen, Jack Reynor and Mark McKenna. The album features the original songs from the film written by Carney and Gary Clark (Flora and Son, Power Ballad, Modern Love), as well as the film’s other songs by artists including Adam Levine, Motörhead, The Cure, Duran Duran, The Jam, among others. Also included are two brand new track versions performed by the Sing Street Band featuring cast from the stage musical adaption. The 10th Anniversary Edition is being released as a CD and vinyl edition, which includes new liner notes by Clark, and is now available to available to order on Amazon. The two new tracks (Dream for You & Drive It Like You Stole It) are also available to stream/download as digital singles and can be checked out below. The original soundtrack album was released in March of 2016. Sing Street was released in U.S. theaters in early 2016 by the Weinstein Company and is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
