EMI Music/Universal Music Australia will release the official soundtrack for the documentary Slim & I. The album features songs by the film’s subjects, the late Australian country music legend Slim Dusty and his wife, Joy McKean, as well as tracks by Troy Cassar-Daley, Kasey Chambers & Bill Chambers, Missy Higgins & others. Also included is the original song I Don’t Believe You written by Flora Smith & McKean and performed by Small Town Romance feat. Anne Kirkpatrick (listen to the track below). The soundtrack will be released physically and digitally on September 4, 2020 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. An extended edition featuring eight additional tracks will also be released digitally on the same day (click here to order). Slim & I is directed by Kriv Stenders (Red Dog, Danger Close) and centers on the partnership between Slim Dusty and McKean.

‘Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan’ Soundtrack Released
Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album for the Australian war drama Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan. The album features the film’s original music composed by Caitlin Yeo (The Rocket, The Butterfly Tree). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Danger Close is directed by Kriv Stenders and stars Travis Fimmel, Luke Bracey, Richard Roxburgh, Anthony Hayes, Alexander England, Daniel Webber, Aaron Glenane, Nicholas Hamilton and Myles Pollard. The drama, which tells the story of the most celebrated victorious battle for the Australian army during the Vietnam war, will be released in Australian theaters this coming Thursday, August 8 and will be distributed in the U.S. by Saban Films.
