The album features the original music from the first episode of the show composed by Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Inside Man, Malcolm X, 25th Hour, Red Tails). The film is directed by Fernando Trueba (Belle Epoque, Chico & Rita) and stars Javier Cámara, Daniela Abad, Aida Morales, Patricia Tamayo and Juan Pablo Urrego. The movie is based on Héctor Abad Faciolince’s novel of the same title and tells the true story of his father, Colombian human rights activist Héctor Abad Gómez, a man torn between the love of his family and his political fight set in the violence-riddled Colombia of recent decades. Already out on VOD since this past Thursday is the psychological thriller You Should Have Left written and directed by David Koepp and starring Kevin Bacon, Amanda Seyfried, Avery Essex and Geoff Bell. The film’s original music is composed by Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Disturbia, The Odd Life of Timothy Green). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on Thursday. Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the Australian comedy drama Babyteeth directed by Shannon Murphy and starring Eliza Scanlen, Toby Wallace, Emily Barclay, Eugene Gilfedder, Essie Davis and Ben Mendelsohn. Amanda Jones (Son of a Lion, Look Both Ways) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been released. The movie, which revolves around a family that juggles first love, suburban malaise, and heavy pharmaceuticals, premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and is being released in the U.S. by IFC Films. Rock Action Records has released a full soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Outlaw King. The album features the film’s original music composed by Grey Dogs. Milan Records has previously released a single featuring three tracks from Grey Dogs’ score when the movie premiered back in 2018.
