Gravel and Echo Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the action thriller One Spoon of Chocolate. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, John Wick, Deadpool 2, 300, Watchmen, X, Atomic Blonde, Dawn of the Dead) & RZA (Kill Bill: Vol. 1, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, Blade: Trinity, The Man with the Iron Fists, Wu-Tang: An American Saga). One Spoon of Chocolate is written and directed by RZA and stars Shameik Moore, Blair Underwood, RJ Cyler, Paris Jackson, Emyri Crutchfield, Michael Harney and Harry Goodwins. The movie follows a veteran and ex-convict seeking a fresh start in a small town who – after an altercation with a gang of locals – starts to suspect they may have something to do with the disappearance of young men in the area and finds himself the target of not only the gang, but the local sheriff’s office. The thriller premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and is being released in theaters this weekend by Variance Films.
