Orbital member Paul Hartnoll (Pusher, Peaky Blinders, Concrete Plans, Bad Tidings, Tormented) has made his feature documentary scoring debut on the upcoming sports doc Cantona. The film is directed by David Tryhorn & Ben Nicholas (Pelé, The Figo Affair: The Transfer that Changed Football) and tells the story of Eric Cantona’s journey from volatile French prodigy to Manchester United legend. The movie features contributions from Cantona himself, Alex Ferguson and David Beckham to trace the life of one of football’s most magnetic and enigmatic figures. Tryhorn and Nicholas are also producing the project with Stevan Riley (Listen to Me Marlon, Everything or Nothing). Cantona will premiere this month at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
