A soundtrack album has been released for the CBC series Trickster. The album features the original music from the show’s first season composed by Todor Kobakov (The Samaritan, Born to Be Blue, Most Dangerous Game, Backstabbing for Beginners, Bitten). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes, where you can also check out audio clips. Trickster is created by Michelle Latimer & Tony Elliott based on the bestselling novel Son of a Trickster by Eden Robinson and stars Joel Oulette, Crystle Lightning, Craig Lauzon, Kalani Queypo, Anna Lambe, Joel Thomas Hynes, Gail Maurice and Georgina Lightning. The drama follows an Indigenous teen struggling to keep his dysfunctional family above water whose already chaotic life is turned upside down when he starts seeing strange things – talking ravens, doppelgängers and skin monsters.

‘The Crown’ Season 4 Soundtrack Album Details
Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series The Crown. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Martin Phipps (Woman in Gold, War & Peace, The Honourable Woman, The Aftermath, Peaky Blinders, Harry Brown).) who previously scored Season 3, for which he received an Emmy Award nomination. The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally next week (click here to stream/download the album). A CD version is set to come out on November 20 and is now available for pre-order (as an import) on Amazon. The label has previously released three soundtrack albums featuring Rupert Gregson-Williams’ & Lorne Balfe’s music from Season 1 and Season 2 and Phipps’ score from Season 3.
Dan the Automator Scoring Netflix’s ‘Dash & Lily’
Dan the Automator (Booksmart, Control, Holidate) is the composer of the new Netflix original series Dash & Lilly. The show is created by Joe Tracz and stars Midori Francis, Austin Abrams, Dante Brown, Troy Iwata . The romantic comedy is based on the New York Times bestseller Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares and follows the title characters as they trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at locations all across New York City, finding they have more in common with each other than they would have expected.

Premiering tonight is the new Showtime original series Moonbase 8 created by Fred Armisen, Jonathan Krisel, Tim Heidecker & John C. Reilly and starring Armisen, Heidecker and Reilly themselves. The show’s original music is composed by Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips who made his scoring debut on the comedy. The A24 production centers on three astronauts stationed at NASA’s Moon Base Simulator in a remote part of the Arizona desert as they encounter many obstacles including loneliness, self-doubt and their own incompetence. Premiering tomorrow, November 9, is the HBO original series Industry created by Mickey Down & Konrad Kay and starring Myha’la Herrold, Marisa Abela, Nabhaan Rizwan, Harry Lawtey, David Jonsson, Conor MacNeill and Ken Leung. Electronic music producer Nathan Micay has composed the show’s original music. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Saycet (Tycoon, Man Up!). ‘The Capture’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC drama The Capture. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Blur drummer Dave Rowntree and Ian Arber (Medici, My Name Is Lenny, After the Screaming Stops). The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 20 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. The Capture is written and directed by Ben Chanan and stars Callum Turner, Holliday Grainger, Ron Perlman, Famke Janssen, Ben Miles, Ralph Ineson, Paul Ritter, Lia Williams and Laura Haddock. The spy thriller is set in our contemporary world of digital surveillance and follows a soldier who returns to life as a free man with his young daughter after a conviction for a murder in Afghanistan is overturned due to flawed video evidence.

CBS’ ‘B Positive’ to Feature Theme Song by Keb’ Mo’ and Original Score by Dennis C. Brown & Grant Geissman
Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and guitarist Keb’ Mo’ has recorded the main title song for the new CBS comedy B Positive created by Marco Pennette (Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty), executive produced by Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, The Kominsky Method) and stars Thomas Middleditch, Annaleigh Ashford, Kether Donohue, Sara Rue, Izzy G and Terrence Terrell. He also co-wrote the track with Lorre. The show’s original score is composed by Dennis C. Brown & Grant Geissman who previously collaborated with Lorre on such shows as Two and a Half Men, Dharma & Greg and Mike & Molly. The series revolves around a therapist and newly divorced dad who is faced with finding a kidney donor when he runs into a rough-around-the-edges woman from his past who volunteers her own.
‘The Musical Anthology of His Dark Materials’ Series 2 Soundtrack Album Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced the second volume of the concept album The Musical Anthology of His Dark Materials as an introduction to the second season of the HBO/BBC fantasy series His Dark Materials. The album features the newly composed principal themes from Series Two by the show’s composer Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, Home, Bad Boys for Life, The Crown, Genius). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Sunday, November 8 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released the first volume of the concept album before the Season 1 premiere and a full separate album featuring Balfe’s score from the first season last December. Season 2 of His Dark Materials is based on The Subtle Knife, the second book in Philip Pullman’s trilogy, and stars Dafne Keen, Ruth Wilson, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Ruta Gedmintas, Joe Tandberg, Helen McCrory, Terence Stamp, Andrew Scott, Jade Anouka and Simone Kirby.

The show is developed by Amanda Coe (Apple Tree Yard, The Trial of Christine Keeler) based on the best-selling novel by Rumer Godden and stars Gemma Arterton, Alessandro Nivola, Aisling Franciosi, Diana Rigg, Jim Broadbent, Rosie Cavaliero, Karen Bryson, Patsy Ferran, Nila Aalia, Kulvinder Ghir, Chaneil Kular, Dipika Kunwar, Gina McKee, Soumil Malla and Gianni Gonsalves.
