Premiering tonight is the AMC original series Dispatches from Elsewhere created by Jason Segel and starring Segel himself, André Benjamin, Sally Field, Octavio Coleman, Richard E. Grant and Eve Lindley. The show’s original music is composed by Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, Watchmen, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, Broken City). Premiering tomorrow, March 2 is the FX original series Breeders created by Simon Blackwell ,Chris Addison & Martin Freeman and starring Freeman himself, Daisy Haggard, George Wakeman, Jayda Eyles, Michael McKean, Joanna Bacon and Alun Armstrong. Oli Julian (Sex Education, Catastrophe, Episodes, Plebs) is composing the show’s original music. Soundtrack Album for Larry Fessenden’s ‘Depraved’ to Be Released

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror movie Depraved. The album features the film’s original music composed by Will Bates (I Origins, The Path, Another Earth, Unbelievable, The Magicians, The Looming Tower). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, January 10 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Depraved is written and directed by Larry Fessenden and stars David Call, Joshua Leonard, Alex Breaux and Ana Kayne. The movie is based on the Frankenstein myth and centers on a fanatical doctor as he reconstructs an unsuspecting man out of spare body parts.

‘The Sound of Silence’ Soundtrack Released

Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the drama The Sound of Silence. The album features the film’s original music composed by Will Bates (The Looming Tower, The Path, I Origins, The Magicians, Imperium). The soundtrack is now available to download and stream on Amazon Music, where you can also listen to audio clips. The Sound of Silence is co-written and directed by Michael Tyburski and stars Peter Sarsgaard, Rashida Jones, Tony Revolori, Austin Pendleton and Bruce Altman. The movie centers on a successful “house tuner” in New York City, who calibrates the sound in people’s homes in order to adjust their moods, as he meets a client with a problem he can’t solve.

Premiering on Thursday, September 12, is the Netflix limited series The I-Land created by Neil LaBute and starring Kate Bosworth, Alex Pettyfer, Natalie Martinez, Kyle Schmid, Gilles Geary and Ronald Peet. The show’s original music is composed by Emily Rice. The sci-fi thriller, which follows a group of strangers who fight to survive harsh realities – and the island that traps them stream, will be available to stream on Thursday exclusively on Netflix.

Premiering on Friday, September 13, is the Netflix original series Unbelievable developed by Susannah Grant, Michael Chabon & Ayelet Waldman and starring Toni Collette, Merritt Wever and Kaitlyn Dever. The show is developed by Susannah Grant (Erin Brockovich, Pocahontas), Michael Chabon (John Carter) & Ayelet Waldman and stars Toni Collette, Merritt Wever and Kaitlyn Dever. The drama is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning article by The Marshall Project and ProPublica, An Unbelievable Story of Rape, and follows two detectives whose lives become intertwined in their mutual pursuit of a possible serial rapist.

Premiering tomorrow, March 18, is the new ABC drama The Fix created by Elizabeth Craft, Sarah Fain & Marcia Clark and starring Robin Tunney, Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje and Scott Cohen. The show’s original music is composed by Gregory Tripi (Ma, Manhunt: Unabomber, Dark Places, Rememory). The film is written and directed by John Swab and stars Ron Perlman, Michael Pitt, William Forsythe, Mark Boone Jr., Brad Carter, Dree Hemingway, Slaine, Brad Carter, Kylie Rogers, Sam Quartin and Gore Abrams. The movie follows a young boy who commits a noble murder to save his best friend and is forced to run away from his hometown and leave her behind.

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Syfy original series Nightflyers. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Will Bates (The Path, The Looming Tower, The Magicians, I Origins, Hot Summer Nights). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 14 and will be available to download on Amazon. Nightflyers is developed by Jeff Buhler based on George R.R. Martin’s novella and the 1987 film of the same title and stars Eoin Macken, David Ajala, Sam Strike, Maya Eshet, Angus Sampson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Brian F. O’Byrne and Gretchen Mol.

The only nationwide release this weekend is the 25th Anniversary re-release of the drama Schindler’s List directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley and Ralph Fiennes. The film’s original music is composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial) who earned his fifth Academy Award for his score. La-La Land Records has recently released a new 2-CD limited edition soundtrack to coincide with the movie’s re-release. Check out our previous news article for the full album details.

Opening in limited release is the drama Vox Lux directed by Brady Corbet and starring Natalie Portman, Jude Law, Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Jennifer Ehle, Christopher Abbott and Willem Dafoe. Scott Walker (The Childhood of a Leader, Pola X) has composed the film’s original score and Sia has written original songs for the movie.
