Will Bates (The Looming Tower, The Path, I Origins, Nightflyers,The Magicians) is scoring the upcoming indie drama Run with the Hunted. The film is written and directed by John Swab and stars Ron Perlman, Michael Pitt, William Forsythe, Mark Boone Jr., Brad Carter, Dree Hemingway, Slaine, Brad Carter, Kylie Rogers, Sam Quartin and Gore Abrams. The movie follows a young boy who commits a noble murder to save his best friend and is forced to run away from his hometown and leave her behind. Swab is also producing the project with Roxwell Films’ Jeremy M. Rosen (Charlie Says). Run with the Hunted is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
Bates’ other upcoming feature projects include the Peter Sarsgaard- & Rashida Jones-starring drama The Sound of Silence and Alex Gibney’s documentary The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, both of which will premiere later this month at the Sundance Film Festival.
