Also premiering today is the Epix limited series Rogue Heroes developed by Steven Knight and starring Connor Swindells, Jack O’Connell, Sofia Boutella, Alfie Allen and Dominic West. Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Layer Cake, The Young Victoria, A Perfect Planet, Still Alice, Kick-Ass) has composed the show’s original music. Tom Howe (Early Man, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Charming, Professor Marston & the Wonder Women) is the composer of the new HBO Max original series Head of the Class. The show is based on the 1980s sitcom of the same title created by Rich Eustis & Michael Elias (scored by Ed Alton) and stars Isabella Gomez, Jorge Diaz, Jolie Hoang Rappaport, Gavin Lewis, Brandon Severs, Dior Goodjohn, Adrian Matthew Escalona and Katie Beth Hall. The comedy revolves around a group of overachieving high school students who meet a teacher who wants them to focus less on grades and more on experiencing life.
