WaterTower Music has released the first soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Shrinking. The album features the original score from the show’s first season composed by Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Daisy Jones & The Six, Early Man, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women). Also included is the main title theme song Frightening Fishes (by Death Cab for Cutie’s Benjamin Gibbard & Tom Howe), which has previously been released as a digital single. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes, Amazon and most other major digital music services. Shrinking is created by Jason Segel, Bill Lawrence & Brett Goldstein and stars Segel himself, Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Christa Miller, Michael Urie and Lukita Maxwell.

Premiering on Wednesday, March 1, is the new CBS drama True Lies developed by Matt Nix inspired by James Cameron’s 1994 movie and starring Steve Howey, Ginger Gonzaga, Erica Hernandez, Omar Miller, Mike O’Gorman, Lucas Jaye and Annabella Didion.The show’s original music is composed by Toby Chu (Bao, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, Covert Affairs, Found, Fistful of Vengeance, Unforgettable). Also premiering on Wednesday in the U.S. is the British horror comedy series Wreck created by Ryan J. Brown and starring Oscar Kennedy, Thaddea Graham, Jack Rowan, Anthony Rickman, Louis Boyer, Alice Noakes, Miya Ocego, Peter Claffey and Jodie Tyack. Steve Lynch (Let Us Prey, Boys from Hell) is composing the show’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 was released last December. Tom Howe Scoring Amazon’s ‘Daisy Jones & the Six’
Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, Early Man, The Amazing Maurice) is the composer of the new Amazon limited series Daisy Jones & the Six. The show is created by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber (500 Days of Summer, The Fault in Our Stars) based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling novel of the same title and starring Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, Camila Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Josh Whitehouse, Will Harrison, Nabiyah Be, Tom Wright, Sebastian Chacon, Teddy Price and Timothy Olyphant. The musical drama tells the story of how an iconic 1970s band imploded at the height of its powers.
Tom Howe Scoring Bill Holderman’s ‘Book Club: The Next Chapter’
Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Shrinking, Early Man, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women) is scoring the upcoming comedy sequel Book Club: The Next Chapter. The film is directed by Bill Holderman and stars Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen, Craig T. Nelson, Andy Garcia & Don Johnson who reprise their roles from the 2018 first Book Club installment (scored by Peter Nashel). The movie, which also stars Giancarlo Giannini, follows Diane, Vivian, Sharon & Carol as they take their book club to Italy, where their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure.

Opening in theaters nationwide today is the horror thriller Knock at the Cabin co-written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starring Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Abby Quinn, Rupert Grint, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Kristen Cui. The film’s original music is composed by Herdís Stefánsdóttir (Y: The Last Man, The Essex Serpent, The Sun Is Also a Star, We’re Here). BMG has released the original song Gonna Be You written by Diane Warren and performed by Dolly Parton, Belinda Carlisle, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan & Debbie Harry from the movie last month. The show is created by Jason Segel, Bill Lawrence (Scrubs, Cougar Town) & Brett Goldstein (Soulmates) and stars Harrison Ford, Segel himself, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie, Christa Miller and Lukita Maxwell. The comedy revolves around a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks and finds himself making huge changes to people’s lives – including his own.

Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Early Man, The People We Hate at the Wedding) has teamed up with Shez Manzoor to score the upcoming action comedy Polite Society. The film is written and directed by Nida Manzoor (We Are Lady Parts) and stars Priya Kansara, Ritu Arya, Seraphina Beh, Ella Bruccoleri, Nimra Bucha and Akshay Khanna. The movie follows a London schoolgirl and martial artist-in-training who believes she must save her older sister from her impending marriage and – with the help of her friends – attempts to pull off an ambitious wedding heist in the name of independence and sisterhood.

Never Fade Records has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Amazing Maurice. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Early Man, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, The People We Hate at the Wedding). Also included are two songs by Gabrielle Aplin. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Amazing Maurice is directed by Toby Genkel, co-directed by Florian Westermann and features the voices of Hugh Laurie, Emilia Clarke, Himesh Patel, Gemma Arterton, David Tennant, Joe Sugg, Hugh Bonneville and Ariyon Bakare. The movie revolves around a streetwise ginger cat who comes up with a money-making scam by befriending a group of self-taught talking rats.
