The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is the horror movie IT: Chapter Two directed by Andy Muschietti and starring Bill Skarsgård, Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone and Andy Bean. The film’s original music is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (Hidden Figures, Blade Runner 2049, Shazam!, Annabelle Creation). Opening in Los Angeles before expanding to more markets over the next couple of weeks is the indie drama Ms. Purple written and directed by Justin Chon and starring Tiffany Chu and Teddy Lee. Roger Suen who has previously scored Chon’s first feature Gook has composed the film’s original music. Notefornote Entertainment has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. ‘The Last Photograph’ Soundtrack Released

Nowever Records has released a soundtrack album for the British drama The Last Photograph. The album features the film’s original music composed by Peter Raeburn (Woodlawn, Nancy, Photograph). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. The Last Photograph is directed by Danny Huston who also stars in the movie, alongside Johan Hauer-King, Stacy Martin, Sarita Choudhury, Vincent Regan, Michelle Ryan and Jaime Winstone. The drama is based on Simon Astaire’s novel of the same title and follows a middle-aged man as he searches for a stolen photograph of his son, which was taken shortly before he was killed in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. The film is being released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD this weekend by Freestyle Digital Media.

Peter Raeburn (Woodshock, Nancy, Photograph) is the composer of the upcoming TNT original series Tell Me Your Secrets. The show is created by Harriet Warner (Call the Midwife, Mistresses) and stars Lily Rabe, Enrique Murciano, Hamish Linklater, Elliot Fletcher, Xavier Samuel, Stella Baker, Ashley Madekwe, Charles Esten, Chiara Aurelia, Bryant Tardy and Amy Brenneman. The thriller centers on a trio of characters each with a mysterious and troubling past, including a young woman who once looked into the eyes of a dangerous killer, a former serial predator desperate to find redemption and a grieving mother obsessed with finding her missing daughter.

Opening in most theaters is the action sequel John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum directed by Chad Stahelski and starring Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Anjelica Huston, Jason Mantzoukas and Ian McShane. The film’s original music is composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, 300, Watchmen, The Punisher) & Joel J. Richard (John Wick 1 & 2). Peter Raeburn (Woodshock, Nancy) has recently scored the upcoming drama Photograph. The film is written and directed by Ritesh Batra (The Lunchbox, Our Souls at Night, The Sense of an Ending) and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra. The movie is set in Mumbai and centers on a struggling street photographer, pressured to marry by his grandmother, who convinces a shy stranger to pose as his fiancée. Neil Kopp, Vincent Savino (Blue Ruin, Certain Women) and Neil Kopp & Anish Savjani (Green Room, Wendy and Lucy) are producing the Amazon Studios production.

‘Woodshock’ Soundtrack Details

The details of the soundtrack album for the indie drama Woodshock have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Peter Raeburn. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on September 15, 2017 by Milan Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A vinyl version is set to come out later this year and can be pre-ordered here. Woodshock is written and directed by Kate Mulleavy & Laura Mulleavy and stars Kirsten Dunst, Joe Colea and Piloue Asbaek. The movie follows a woman in the wake of profound loss as she is torn between her devastated emotional state and the reality-altering effects of a potent drug.
