Decca Records has released the official soundtrack album for the documentary David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Fury, Suicide Squad, The Aeronauts, The Hunt, Baby Driver, The World’s End). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. A CD and vinyl edition is available for pre-order here. David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet is directed by Keith Scholey, Alastair Fothergill & Jonathan Hughes and tells the story of life on our planet by the man who has seen more of the natural world than any other.

Morgan Kibby (aka White Sea) (Girls of the Sun, Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story), The Short History of the Long Road) is the composer of the new Netflix original series Grand Army. The show is created by Katie Cappiello based on her stage play Slut: The Play and stars Odessa A’zion, Amalia Yoo, Jayson Jackson, Amir Bageria and Odley Jean. The teen drama follows five students at the largest public high school in Brooklyn as they take on a chaotic world as they fight to succeed, survive, break free and seize the future.
Nainita Desai Scoring Netflix’s ‘American Murder: The Family Next Door’
Nainita Desai (For Sama, Enemy Within, Telling Lies, Fierce Queens, The Reason I Jump) has recently scored the new Netflix original documentary American Murder: The Family Next Door. The film is directed by Jenny Popplewell and examines the disappearance of Shanann Watts and her children, and the terrible events that followed. The movie is told entirely through archival footage that includes social media posts, law enforcement recordings, text messages and never-before-seen home videos.
Will Blair & Brooke Blair Scoring Oz Rodriguez’s ‘Vampires vs. the Bronx’
Will Blair & Brooke Blair (Green Room, Hold the Dark, Blue Ruin, Black Christmas, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore) have composed the original score for the new Netflix original film Vampires vs. the Bronx. The movie is directed by Oz Rodriguez and stars Jaden Michael, Gerald W. Jones III, Gregory Diaz IV, Sarah Gadon, Method Man, Shea Whigham, Coco Jones, The Kid Mero, Chris Redd, Vladimir Caamaño, Jeremie Harris, Adam David Thompson and Zoe Saldana.The horror comedy centers on three gutsy kids from a rapidly gentrifying Bronx neighborhood as they stumble upon a sinister plot to suck all the life from their beloved community.

Asterisco Records has released a soundtrack album for the Argentinian thriller The Crimes That Bind (Crimenes de familia). The album features the film’s original music composed by Sebastian Escofet (The Clan, The Last Elvis, Killing Jesus, Rain). The Crimes That Bind is co-written and directed by Sebastian Schindel and stars Cecilia Roth, Miguel Ángel Solá, Benjamín Amadeo, Sofía Gala Castiglione, Yanina Ávila and Marcelo Subiotto. The movie centers on a desperate mother who will do everything possible to prevent her son from being imprisoned for his ex-wife’s attempted murder.

WM Italy has released the original song Vertigine from the third and final season of the Italian Netflix original series Baby. The track is written and performed by Levante feat. Altarboy (aka Attilio Tucci & Sergio Picciaredda) and is now available as a digital single on Amazon and other digital music services. Baby is executive produced by Marco & Nicola De Angelis and stars Benedetta Porcaroli, Alice Pagani, Riccardo Mandolini, Chabeli Sastre Gonzalez, Brando Pacitto, Lorenzo Zurzolo, Claudia Pandolfi and Galatea Ranzi. The drama follows two teen girls from a wealthy part of Rome as they get drawn to the city’s underworld and start leading double lives.
Netflix’s ‘Challenger: The Final Flight’ to Feature Score by Jeff Beal & Main Titles Theme by Charles Scott IV
Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Rome, Monk, Pollock, Carnivale, The Biggest Little Farm) has composed the original score for the new Netflix docu-series Challenger: The Final Flight. Charles Scott IV (Sleight, Sweetheart) has written the project’s main titles theme and also provided additional music. The show is directed by Steven Leckart and Daniel Junge (A Lego Brickumentary, Being Evel) and examines the 1986 Challenger space shuttle, which tragically broke apart 73 seconds after launch as millions of Americans watched live on television. The 4-parter features interview with engineers, officials and the crew members’ families.
Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Away’ to Be Released
Back Lot Music & Universal Television will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Away. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Will Bates (Unbelievable, I Origins, The Magicians, The Looming Tower, Nightflyers). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 16 and will be available to stream/download here. Away is created by Andrew Hinderaker and stars Hilary Swank, Josh Charles, Vivian Wu, Mark Ivanir, Ato Essandoh, Ray Panthaki and Talitha Bateman. The sci-fi drama executive produced by Jason Katims, Matt Reeves & Jessica Goldberg revolves around an American astronaut who leaves behind her husband and daughter to lead an international crew of astronauts on a perilous three-year mission to Mars.
