Marvel Music and Hollywood Records have released the first track from the soundtrack for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Loki. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon) is the end titles cue TVA written by the show’s composer Natalie Holt (Journey’s End, Herself, Knightfall, Deadwater Fell, Press). A full soundtrack album, Loki: Chapter One (Episodes 1-3) is set to be released on July 2 and a second album, Loki: Chapter Two (Episodes 4-6) will be coming out on July 23. Loki is developed for television by Michael Waldron, directed by Kate Herron and stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.

The show’s original music is composed by Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Halcyon, The Spanish Princess, Home Fires). Natalie Holt Scoring Marvel’s Disney+ Series ‘Loki’
Natalie Holt (Journey’s End, Knightfall, Deadwater Fell, Press) is currently scoring Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ original series Loki. The show is directed by Kate Herron and stars Tom Hiddleston in the title role, alongside Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The 6-parter takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and follows the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow. Michael Waldron (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) serves as the project’s head writer.

Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the action horror thriller Shadow in the Cloud directed by Roseanne Liang and starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Nick Robinson, Beulah Koale, Taylor John Smith, Callan Mulvey, Joe Witkowski, Benedict Wall and Byron Coll. The film’s original music is composed by Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper (The Legend of Baron To’a, Housebound, Fantail). No soundtrack album has been announced yet. The movie, which follows a female WWII pilot traveling with top secret documents on a B-17 Flying Fortress who encounters an evil presence on board the flight, premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and is being released by Vertical Entertainment.

The only movie opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the thriller Let Him Go written and directed by Thomas Bezucha and starring Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Lesley Manville, Booboo Stewart, Kayli Carter and Will Brittain. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Star Trek, Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). The movie, which revolves around an American journalist/blogger who is kidnapped while attending a conference in the Middle East and is put on trial for trumped-up charges of espionage, is being released by Cloudburst Entertainment.
Already playing in around 400 theaters since this past Wednesday is the thriller The Secrets We Keep co-written and directed by Yuval Adler and starring Noomi Rapace, Joel Kinnaman, Chris Messina and Amy Seimetz. Natalie Holt Scoring Channel 4’s ‘Deadwater Fell’
Natalie Holt (Journey’s End, The Honourable Woman, Knightfall, Beecham House) has composed the original music for the new Channel 4 original series Deadwater Fell. The show is created by Daisy Coulam (Grantchester) and stars David Tennant, Cush Jumbo, Anna Madeley and Matthew McNulty. The 4-part thriller centers on two families in the aftermath of a tragedy that claims the lives of a woman and her three children. Lynsey Miller (The Boy with the Topknot, Eve) is directing the project, which is executive produced by Coulam, Tennant, Emma Kingsman-Lloyd (Humans, Grantchester) and Karen Wilson (Utopia, The Tunnel).
Natalie Holt to Score Claudia Llosa’s ‘Fever Dream’ (‘Distancia de Regata’)
Natalie Holt (Journey’s End, The Honourable Woman, Knightfall, Beecham House, Three Girls) has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix original movie Fever Dream (Distancia de Regata). The film is directed by Claudia Llosa (The Milk Of Sorrow, Aloft) and stars María Valverde and Dolores Fonzi. The drama is based on the novel of the same title by Samanta Schweblin and tells a story of broken souls, toxins, looming environmental and spiritual catastrophes, and the ties that bind a parent to a child.
