The full details of the soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original music, including the Obi-Wan Theme composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark), the original score composed by Natalie Holt (Loki, Knightfall, Journey’s End) and the Obi-Wan Theme adapted by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, My Dog Skip, Tuck Everlasting). The soundtrack is set to be released digitally on Monday, June 27 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.

Natalie Holt (Loki, Knightfall, Herself, Journey’s End, Fever Dream, Beecham House, Press) has recently scored the upcoming fantasy comedy The Princess. The film is directed by Le-Van Kiet (Furie, The Requin) and stars Joey King, Dominic Cooper, Olga Kurylenko and Veronica Ng. The movie tells the story of a beautiful, strong-willed princess who is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father’s castle when she refuses to wed the cruel sociopath to whom she is betrothed.

Premiering tomorrow, May 23, is the Apple TV+ natural history series Prehistoric Planet narrated by David Attenborough and executive produced by Jon Favreau and Mike Gunton. Zimmer also co-wrote the project’s theme with ndrew Christie (The Flood) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The film’s original music is composed by John Lunn (Jamestown,The Last Kingdom, Grantchester, Shetland, Belgravia) who previously scored the all episodes of the Downton Abbey TV series and the first movie adaptation. Natalie Holt (Loki, Knightfall, Journey’s End, Herself, Fever Dream, Beecham House, Press) has composed the original score for the upcoming Disney+ original series Obi-Wan Kenobi. The drama takes place 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan faced the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Natalie Holt Scoring Elizabeth Banks’ ‘Cocaine Bear’
Natalie Holt (Loki, Herself, Knightfall, Journey’s End, Fever Dream, Beecham House, Press) has been hired to score the upcoming thriller Cocaine Bear. The film is directed by Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect 2, Charlie’s Angels) and stars Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson, Ray Liotta, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Alden Ehrenreich, Margo Martindale, Kristofer Hivju, Brooklynn Prince, Christian Convery, Kahyun Kim and Scott Seiss. The movie is inspired by true events, which took place in Kentucky in 1985, involving a real-life 175-pound bear who died of an apparent cocaine overdose. Jimmy Warden (The Babysitter: Killer Queen) wrote the screenplay.

Natalie Holt to Score Adil El Arbi’s & Bilall Fallah’s ‘Batgirl’
Natalie Holt (Loki, Journey’s End, Herself, Knightfall, Beecham House, Press) has announced that she is set to compose the music for the upcoming HBO Max original movie Batgirl. The film is directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys for Life) and stars Leslie Grace in title role of Barbara Gordon. J. K. Simmons is attached to star as Commissioner James Gordon. No plot details have been announced yet. Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey, Bumblebee) wrote the screenplay based on the DC characters. Kristin Burr (Cruella, Dora and the Lost City of Gold) is producing the Warner Bros. Pictures production.
