WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the biographical drama King Richard. The album features the film’s original score composed by Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, Green Book, Dear White People, When They See Us, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Mrs. America, Respect, The United States vs. Billie Holiday). Also included is the original song Be Alive co-written and performed by Beyoncé (already available as a digital single now). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 19 and will be available to stream/download here. King Richard is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and stars Will Smith, Aunjanue Ellis, Saniyya Sidney, Demi Singleton, Jon Bernthal, Tony Goldwyn, Kevin Dunn and Andy Bean. The movie follows the journey of an undeterred father instrumental in raising two of the most gifted athletes of all time: Venus and Serena Williams.

‘Colin in Black & White’ Soundtrack Album Details
Maisie Music Publishing will release the official soundtrack album for the Netflix limited series Colin in Black & White. The album features the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, Green Book, King Richard, Dear White People, Space Jam: A New Legacy, When They See Us, Mrs. America). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 29 and will be available to stream/download here. Colin in Black & White is created by Ava DuVernay & athlete turned activist Colin Kaepernick (who is also providing the voiceover narration) and stars Jaden Michael, Mary-Louise Parker and Nick Offerman. The 6-parter explores Kaepernick’s high school years and chronicles what inspired him to risk his livelihood in support of civil rights.

Premiering tomorrow, October 25, is the new CW drama 4400 developed by Ariana Jackson based on USA’s TV series The 4400 and starring Brittany Adebumola, Joseph David-Jones, TL Thompson, Ireon Roach, Jaye Ladymore, Khailah Johnson, Derrick A. King, Cory Jeacoma, AMARR and Autumn Best. The show’s original music is composed by Jongnic Bontemps (United Skates, My Name Is Pauli Murray, The Land, We Are: The Brooklyn Saints, College Behind Bars, The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel). Premiering on Thursday, October 28, is the Paramount+ animated series Star Trek: Prodigy developed by Kevin & Dan Hageman and starring Rylee Alazraqui, Brett Gray, Angus Imrie, Jason Mantzoukas, Ella Purnell and Dee Bradley Baker. Nami Melumad (An American Pickle, Absentia, Miss Arizona) is composing the show’s original score and Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Inside Out, Ratatouille, Spider-Man: Homecoming) has contributed the main title theme. ‘Dear White People’ Vol. 4 (The Final Season) Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Dear White People. The album the songs from the show’s fourth and final season produced by series composer Kris Bowers (Green Book, Bridgerton, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Mrs. America, Respect, When They See Us) and performed by cast members including Logan Browning, John Patrick Amedori, Marque Richardson, Ashley Featherson, Brandon P. Bell, Joi Collier, Quei Tann, Brandon Black & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 22 and is now available for pre-order here. Columbia Records has previously released the soundtracks for the show’s first two seasons and Lionsgate Records has released an album featuring Bowers’ score from the first three seasons.

Kris Bowers Scoring Bing Liu’s & Joshua Altman’s ‘All These Sons’
Kris Bowers (Green Book, Bridgerton, Mrs. America, Dear White People, When They See Us, The United States vs. Billie Holiday) has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary All These Sons. The film is directed by Bing Liu (Minding the Gap, ) & Joshua Altman and revolves around two men who created community-based self-help programs in Chicago to offer mentorship and healing to young men likely to be either victims or perpetrators of gun violence. Liu and Altman are also producing the project with Zak Piper (Life Itself) and Kelsey Carr.
