Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror sequel Don’t Breathe 2. The album features the film’s original music composed by Roque Banos (Evil Dead,The Machinist, In the Heart of the Sea, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, Come Play, His House, Sexy Beast) who previously scored the original 2016 movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 8 and will be available to stream/download here. Don’t Breathe 2 is co-written and directed by Rodo Sayagues and stars Stephen Lang, Brendan Sexton III and Madelyn Grace. The movie produced by Fede Alvarez follows Norman as he taps into even darker and more creative instincts to recover a young girl that was taken from him.

Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the adventure comedy Free Guy directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi. The film’s original score is composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man,WandaVision, The Hangover, The Peanuts Movie, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Hollywood Records has released two soundtrack albums featuring the songs from the movie and the composer’s score earlier this week. Also opening wide is the biographical drama Respect directed by Liesl Tommy and starring Jennifer Hudson, Forest Whitaker, Marlon Wayans, Marc Maron, Tituss Burgess, Audra McDonald, Hailey Kilgore, Saycon Sengbloh, Skye Dakota Turner and Mary J. Blige. Kris Bowers (Green Book, Bridgerton, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Dear White People, Mrs. America) has composed the film’s original score. Roque Banos Scoring Rodo Sayagues’ ‘Don’t Breathe 2’
Roque Banos (The Machinist, Evil Dead, In the Heart of the Sea, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, Sexy Beast, Come Play) is returning as the composer of the upcoming horror sequel Don’t Breathe 2. The film is directed by Rodo Sayagues (who co-wrote and co-produced the original 2016 film) and stars Stephen Lang who reprises his role a Norman Nordstrom. The movie is set in the years following the initial deadly home invasion, where Nordstrom lives in quiet solace until his past sins catch up to him. Sayagues also co-wrote the screenplay with Fede Alvarez who helmed the original film.
