Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Swan Song, Indignation, I Carry You with Me, Tales from the City, Olympic Dreams) has recently been scoring the upcoming romantic comedy Fire Island. The film is directed by Andrew Ahn (Spa Night) and stars Joel Kim Booster, Bowen Yang, Zane Phillips, James Scully, Tomas Matos, Matt Rogers, Conrad Ricamora, Nick Adams Torian Miller and Margaret Cho. The movie inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is set in the New York hamlet of Fire Island Pines and revolves around around two best friends who set out to have a legendary weeklong summer vacation with the help of cheap rosé and a cadre of eclectic friends.

Opening in theaters nationwide today is the superhero movie Spider-Man: No Way Home directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau and Marisa Tomei. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Spider-Man: Homecoming & Far From Home, Lost, Doctor Strange, Star Trek, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Jurassic World, Inside Out). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. ‘Swan Song’ Soundtrack Album Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama Swan Song. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, I Carry You with Me, Indignation, Driveways, Tales from the City, Olympic Dreams). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, December 17 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Several tracks are already available to stream/download now. The movie is set in the near future and follows a loving husband and father diagnosed with a terminal illness who is presented with an alternative solution by his doctor to shield his family from grief.

The movie is set in the near future and centers on a loving husband and father who gets diagnosed with a terminal illness and is being presented with a controversial alternative solution to replace himself with a carbon copy clone.

The romantic comedy, which follows Elle as she plans the ultimate bucket list to make the most of her final summer before college, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
‘Modern Love’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Announced
Milan Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the Amazon anthologhy series Modern Love. The album features both score music and original songs from the show’s second season. Executive music producer Gary Clark and series showrunner, director, writer & executive producer John Carney have written both instrumental music and original vocal tracks featuring performances by Rosie Carney, Nerina Pallot, John Byrne and ANDERMO. The record also features songs written and performed by Andy Shauf, Chong the Nomad, Morcheeba’s Skye Edwards, Clark and Gregor Philip, as well as score tracks by Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Indignation), Philip and Brian Byrne (Albert Nobbs, Boychoir). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, August 13 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first score track by Wadley (Good for Both of Us) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. Decca Classics has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the first season.

The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 25 and will be available to stream/download here. I Carry You with Me is co-written and directed by Heidi Ewing and stars Armando Espitia, Christian Vázquez and Michelle Rodríguez. The movie is based on a true story and centers on the romance between an aspiring chef and a teacher from Mexico who make a treacherous journey to New York with dreams, hopes and memories in tow.
