Roxwell Records has released a soundtrack album for the crime thriller Ida Red. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Sardy (End of Watch, Zombieland, 21, Bright, Premium Rush, Monster Trucks, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Ida Red is written and directed by John Swab and stars Josh Hartnett, Melissa Leo, Frank Grillo, William Forsythe, Sofia Hublitz, Deborah Ann Woll, Mark Boone Junior, George Carroll and Beau Knapp. The movie follows a crime boss who turns to her son to pull off one last heist to get out of prison and must choose between family and freedom when the FBI is closing in.

David Sardy to Score John Swab’s ‘Ida Red’
David Sardy has been hired to score the upcoming crime thriller Ida Red. The film is written and directed by John Swab (Run with the Hunted) and stars Frank Grillo, Melissa Leo, Josh Hartnett, William Forsythe, Sofia Hublitz, Deborah Ann Woll, Mark Boone Junior, Beau Knapp, Slaine and Nicholas Cirillo. The movie follows a career criminal who is battling a terminal illness while serving a 25-year prison sentence in Oklahoma and turns to her son for one last job and a chance to regain her freedom.

‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ Soundtrack Details
Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the horror comedy sequel Zombieland: Double Tap. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Sardy (21, End of Watch, Bright, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Premium Rush) who has previously scored the 2009 original Zombieland movie. Also included is Woody Harrelson’s rendition of Elvis Presley’s Burning Love. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 18 and will be available to stream/download here. Zombieland: Double Tap is directed by Ruben Fleischer and stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch and Luke Wilson.

The movie follows Columbus, Tallahasse, Wichita, and Little Rock as they must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors.

This week, David Sardy is recording his score for the upcoming Netflix original movie Bright at AIR Studios in London. The film is directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad, Fury) and stars Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry, Edgar Ramirez, Happy Anderson, Kenneth Choi and Ike Barinholtz. The fantasy action thriller is set in an alternate present-day where magical creatures live among us and revolves around two L.A. cops who become embroiled in a prophesied turf battle.

The movie follows a a high school senior who builds a Monster Truck from bits and pieces of scrapped cars. No soundtrack album has been announced. ‘Sabotage’ Soundtrack Details
Metropolis Movie Music will release a soundtrack album for David Ayer’s action thriller Sabotage. The album features the film’s original score composed by David Sardy (Zombieland, Premium Rush, 21) who has previously scored the director’s End of Watch. The soundtrack will be released overseas on March 31. Details on the domestic release date will be added to this article soon. Sabotage co-written and directed by Ayer stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Olivia Williams, Mireille Enos, Sam Worthington, Harold Perrineau, Joe Manganiello, Max Martini, Josh Holloway and Terrence Howard. The film follows the leader of an elite DEA task force that takes on the world’s deadliest drug cartels. The movie is now playing in theaters nationwide.

Clint Mansell who previously scored all of the director’s features including Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, Pi, Black Swan and The Wrestler has composed the film’s original music. Nonesuch Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the score by the composer who collaborated with the Kronos Quartet on the project.
