Three new movies are opening wide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the horror thriller Jigsaw directed by Peter & Michael Spierig and starring Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Clé Bennett, Hannah Emily Anderson, Laura Vandervoort, Mandela Van Peebles, Paul Braunstein, Brittany Allen and Josiah Black. Charlie Clouser (Wayward Pines, Resident Evil: Extinction) who previously scored all movies in the Saw series has composed the film’s original music. Also opening wide is the comedy drama Suburbicon co-writtten and directed by Clooney and starring Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, Noah Jupe and Oscar Isaac. The film’s original music is composed and conducted by Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows). ABKCO Records has announced a soundtrack album for George Clooney’s comedy drama Suburbicon. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Godzilla, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) who previously scored Clooney’s The Ides of March and The Monuments Men. Also included is Victor Young’s & Edward Heyman’s When I Fall In Love from the 1952 film One Minute to Zero. The soundtrack will be released on October 27, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on 
Alexandre Desplat confirmed in a recent interview with Arturia (embedded after the jump) that he is reuniting with Wes Anderson on the upcoming stop-motion animated feature Isle of Dogs. The movie is written and directed by Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore) and features the voices of F. Murray Abraham, Bob Balaban, Bud Cort, Bryan Cranston, Greta Gerwig, Jeff Goldblum, Akira Ito, Scarlett Johansson, Harvey Keitel, Bill Murray, Kunichi Nomura, Edward Norton, Yoko Ono, Koyu Rankin, Liev Schreiber, Tilda Swinton, Akira Takayama & Frank Wood. The film is set in Japan and follows a boy’s odyssey in search of his dog.

Also included are the original tracks A Million On My Soul performed by Alexiane (composed & produced by Stargate), as well as Bubble Dance by Julien Rey (produced by DJ Mustard). Also featured is the movie’s opening credits song, David Bowie’s Space Oddity and Bob Marley & The Wailers’ Jamming. The soundtrack will be released on July 21, 2017 by EuropaCorp and is now available for pre-order on 
EuropaCorp will release the official soundtrack album for Luc Besson’s sci-fi action adventure Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Godzilla, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The King’s Speech) who recorded his music at Radio France Studio 104 with the National French Orchestra. Also included are original pop songs and existing famous songs as featured in the movie. The soundtrack will be released on July 21, 2017 and will be available for pre-order on
