WaterTower Music has released the full soundtrack album for the HBO limited series The Regime. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Godzilla) & Alex Heffes (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, The Last King of Scotland, Touching the Void, State of Play, Queen of Katwe) . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The label has previously released Desplat’s main title theme last month as a digital single. The Regime is created by Will Tracy and stars Kate Winslet, Matthias Schoenaerts, Andrea Riseborough, Martha Plimpton, Guillaume Gallienne and Hugh Grant. The 6-part political satire directed by Stephen Frears & Jessica Hobbs revolves around an authoritarian chancellor who has grown increasingly paranoid and unstable when she turns to a volatile soldier as an unlikely confidant.

‘Knox Goes Away’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the noir thriller Knox Goes Away. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Queen of Katwe, Roots, The Regime Touching the Void, State of Play). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 5. Silva Screen Records has released a digital version of the score album for the 2013 biographical/historical drama Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom directed by Justin Chadwick and starring Idris Elba, Naomie Harris, Riaad Moosa, Tony Kgoroge, Lindiwe Matshikiz and Jamie Bartlett.
