Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Touching the Void, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Roots, Queen of Katwe, State of Play) has recently been scoring the upcoming noir thriller Knox Goes Away. The film is directed by Michael Keaton and stars Keaton himself, Al Pacino, James Marsden, Marcia Gay Harden, John Hoogenakker, Suzy Nakamura, Joanna Kulig, Ray Mckinnon and Lela Loren. The movie follows a hitman losing his memory, putting him in a race against time to help his estranged son cover up a messy crime. Gregory Poirier (Tomcats, Rosewood) wrote the screenplay. Nick Gordon & Trevor Matthews (The Forgiven, O.G.) are producing the Brookstreet Pictures and Sugar 23 production with Michael Sugar (Spotlight, 13 Reasons Why) and Ashley Zalta (Dickinson). Knox Goes Away will premiere next month at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
