Walt Disney Records has released the official soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Pinocchio. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame, Forrest Gump, Captain America: The First Avenger). Also included are the songs from the movie, including four original tracks written by Silvestri & Glen Ballard (Jagged Little Pill, Back to the Future: The Musical), as well as new covers of three songs from Disney’s animated classic, including the Academy Award-winning When You Wish Upon a Star (click here for the full list of songs). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon.

Premiering in the U.S. today is the Showtime sports documentary McEnroe directed by Barney Douglas about the tennis legend and four-time US Open champion. The film’s original music is composed by The Maccabees guitarist and songwriter Felix White (The Edge). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score was released digitally this summer and a vinyl edition will be coming out in 2023. The full list of songs featured in Disney+’s new film adaptation of Pinocchio has been revealed. The movie’s composer Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Avengers: Endgame, Cast Away, The Polar Express) and Glen Ballard (Jagged Little Pill, Ghost, Back to the Future: The Musical) have written and produced four original songs: When He Was Here With Me & Pinocchio Pinocchio (performed by Tom Hanks who stars as Geppetto), I Will Always Dance (performed by Kyanne Lamaya as Fabiana) and The Coachman to Pleasure Island (performed by Luke Evans as The Coachman).

The full track list of the soundtrack album for the original cast recording of Back to the Future: The Musical has been revealed. The album features new music written for the stage musical by Academy Award nominees Alan Silvestri (Marvel’s The Avengers, Forrest Gump, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cast Away, The Mummy Returns, Captain America: The First Avenger) & Glen Ballard (The Polar Express, The Eddy), as well as songs from the 1985 movie including The Power Of Love, Johnny B. Alan Silvestri to Compose Music for Robert Zemeckis’ Disney+ Movie ‘Pinocchio’
Alan Silvestri is set to compose the original score for Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming new live-action film adaptation of Pinocchio directed by Robert Zemeckis. He is also producing and co-writing songs for the movie with songwriter/record producer Glen Ballard. Tom Hanks is attached to star in the film as Geppetto. Chris Weitz (About a Boy, Cinderella) is co-writing the screenplay with Zemeckis based on Disney’s 1940 animated classic and will also produce the project with Andrew Miano (The Farewell, A Single Man).

WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the fantasy comedy The Witches. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Marvel’s The Avengers, Cast Away, Captain America: The First Avenger, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 23 and will be available to stream/download here. The Witches is directed by Robert Zemeckis and stars Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, Chris Rock, Jahzir Kadeen Bruno and Kristin Chenoweth. The movie based on Roald Dahl’s novel of the same title and tells the story of a young orphaned boy who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandma in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis, where they encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches.

Chiu, Ruthie Ann Miles, Artt Butler and Sandra Oh. Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Suicide Squad) has composed the film’s original score and Christopher Curtis, Marjorie Duffield & Helen Park have written the original songs. Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 9, is the British thriller Temple developed by Mark O’Rowe based on the Norwegian series Valkyrien and starring Mark Strong, Carice van Houten and Daniel Mays. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman, The Cave, Life in a Day, Gloria Bell). SATV Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music from the first season. Alan Silvestri has signed on to score the upcoming fantasy adventure The Witches. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis and stars Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, Chris Rock, Jahzir Kadeem Bruno and Codie-Lei Eastick. The movie is based on Roald Dahl classic book and tells the story of a young orphaned boy who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandmain the rural Alabama town of Demopolis, where they come across some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches. Zemeckis also wrote the screenplay with Kenya Barris (Black-ish, Shaft) and Guillermo Del Toro (The Shape of Water, Pan’s Labyrinth).
