The album features the show’s original music composed by Segun Akinola (Doctor Who, The Last Tree, 9/11: Inside the President’s War Room). The album features the film’s original music composed by Grammy Award-winning System Of A Down lead singer Serj Tankian (Truth to Power, Furious, 1915) who also serves as an executive producer of the movie. Carlos Rafael Rivera has won his second Emmy Award for his score for the episode End Game of the Netflix limited series The Queen’s Gambit in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie or a Special category at tonight’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony on the Event Deck at LA LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles.He was previously honored with his first Emmy for his main title music for Scott Frank’s Netflix series Godless. Ludwig Göransson was honored with his second Primetime Emmy Award for his score for the sixteenth chapter (The Rescue) of the Disney+ original series The Mandalorian in the Music Composition for a Series category.
