Element Pictures will release the official soundtrack album for the Hulu limited series Conversations with Friends. The album features the show’s original music composed by Stephen Rennicks (Room, Normal People, Frank, The Little Stranger, What Richard Did). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 15 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. As previously reported, Dead Oceans has released the original song Sidelines by Phoebe Bridgers from the series last month. The show is created by Nancy Oliver (Lars and the Real Girl) and stars Emmy Rossum, Martin Freeman, Hamish Linklater, Alex Karpovsky, Charlie Rowe, Lukas Gage, Michael Angarano, Philip Ettinger, Molly Ephraim, Antjuan Tobias, Tonatiuh and David Krumholtz. Opening in theaters nationwide today is the supernatural horror movie Firestarter directed by Keith Thomas and starring Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Zac Efron, Sydney Lemmon, Kurtwood Smith, John Beasley, Michael Greyeyes and Gloria Reuben. The film’s original music is composed by John Carpenter (Assault on Precint 13, Christine, The Fog), Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies (Halloween, Halloween Kills). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score today and Sacred Bones Records will release a physical version later this year. Also opening wide this weekend is the faith-based comedy Family Camp directed by Brian Cates and starring Tommy Woodward, Eddie James, Robert Amaya, Allyn Baker, Gigi Orsillo, Heather Land and Mark Christopher Lawrence. Nicholas Poss (Agnes, Climate of the Hunter) has composed the film’s original score. Provident Label Group has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as songs by Rhett Walker, Kansas, Ben Kilgore and Caleb + Kelsey last month. Expanded and Remastered ‘Spacecamp’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1986 sci-fi adventure SpaceCamp directed by Harry Winer and starring Kate Capshaw, Kelly Preston, Lea Thompson, Larry B. Scott, Tate Donovan, and Joaquin Phoenix. The 2-CD set features the film’s original music composed and conducted by John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Schindler’s List, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, E.T. Legacy Recordings to Release ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Soundtrack Album

Legacy Recordings will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Stranger Things. The compilation album, to be released in two volumes, is conceptualized and produced by series creators The Duffer Brothers and music supervisor Nora Felder (who received an Emmy Award nomination for her work on the show), co-produced by Grammy nominee Timothy J. Smith and includes key music covering various classic eras and styles as featured in the new season. The first track on the Vol. 1 album, Bryce Miller/Alloy Tracks’ remix of Journey’s Separate Ways (as featured in the Season 4 trailer) is already available to stream/download now (listen to the full track below). The 16-track Vol. 1 soundtrack will be released digitally on May 27 (click here to pre-order) and the Vol. 2 album (which includes the tracks from Vol. 1) is set to come out on July 1.
