Netflix Music will release a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series Survival of the Thickest. The album features selections of original music from the show’s third and final season composed by Transcenders (Gossip Girl, Black-ish, Madam Secretary, Our Family Wedding, College, Bring It On: All or Nothing). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 2. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. The label has previously released an EP featuring the composer collective’s music from Season 1 back in 2023 and a full album featuring their score from Season 2 last year. Survival of the Thickest is created by Michelle Buteau & Danielle Sanchez-Witzel and stars Buteau herself, Tone Bell and Tasha Smith. Season 3 of the comedy drama, which also features guest stars including Peppermint, Wanda Sykes, Liza Treyger, D.L. Hughley, Garcelle Beauvais, Ice-T, Ashley Graham, Ronny Chieng, Wyatt Cenac, LaQuan Smith, Jenna Lyons & Charles Harbison, will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Netflix.
