Toho Co. & Rambling Records have released a soundtrack album for the Japanese Netflix limited series Human Vapor. The album features the show’s original music composed by Takashi Ohmama (Last Samurai Standing, Asakus Kid, Star Wars Visions: Yuko’s Treasure). Human Vapor is directed by Shinzo Katayama and stars Shun Oguri, Yu Aoi, Suzu Hirose, Kento Hayashi, UTA, Kuu Izima, Haruka Imou, Motoki Kobayashi, Yota Kawase and Kanji Furutachi. The 8-part sci-fi thriller based on Toho’s 1960 classic feature follows a detective on suspension who is recruited to hunt down the criminal behind a series of unprecedented murders involving a man who calls himself the Human Vapor (UTA) and announces that he will perform a series of murders, sending society into a great panic. The series will premiere tomorrow, July 2 exclusively on Netflix.
