La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere score album for the 1996 sports thriller The Fan directed by Tony Scott and starring Robert De Niro, Wesley Snipes, John Leguizamo, Benicio del Toro and Ellen Barkin. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Dark KnightGladiator, InterstellarInception, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, DuneRain Man, Man of Steel), as well as the composer’s original “sketchbook suite” and the song Letting Go performed by Terence Trent D’Arby. The soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition 2-CD set, which is limited to 3,000 copies, on the label’s official website, where you also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. TVT Records has previously released the original 1996 soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film and a 19-minute score suite. The Fan is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
