Daniel Rojas (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Hit-Monkey, Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., Monster High, Starcrossed) will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Who Invited Charlie?. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and will be released digitally this Friday, February 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Who Invited Charlie? is directed by Xavier Manrique and stars Adam Pally, Jordana Brewster, Reid Scott, Peter Grosz and Peter Dager. Radiocattleya has released a soundtrack album for the Sky original drama Django. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by. the Italian psychedelic-post-rock collective Mokadelic (Gomorrah, The Immortal, Romulus) . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Django is created and written by Leonardo Fasoli & Maddalena Ravagli loosely based on Sergio Corbucci’s cult classic, directed by Francesca Comencini and stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Lisa Vicari, Nicholas Pinnock and Noomi Rapace. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the comedy drama Magic Mike’s Last Dance directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Channing Tatum, Salma Hayek, Ayub Khan Din, Jemelia George, Juliette Motamed and Vicki Pepperdine. The movie doesn’t feature an original score. Season Kent is the film’s music supervisor. Keep Cool & RCA Records have released the song Careful co-written and performed by Lucky Daye today. Opening in select theaters today is the horror thriller Consecration co-written and directed by Christopher Smith and starring Jena Malone, Danny Huston, Thoren Ferguson, Will Keen and Janet Suzma. Nathan Halpern (The Rider, Emily the Criminal, Watcher, Swallow, Minding the Gap) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a woman who goes to the Mount Saviour Convent in Scotland to find out what happened to her priest brother after he died, is being released by IFC Films.
