Rhino Records will release the official soundtrack album for the comedy Joy Ride. The album features the songs from the movie by artists such as Ramengvrl, The Linda Lindas, Shawn Wasabi, Dizzy Dizzo, Vava, Queen WA$ABII & others. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Nathan Matthew David (Young Rock, Deadly Class, The Last Word, Stephen Curry: Underrated, Slice, Angie Tribeca). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 7 and will be available to stream/download here. Joy Ride is directed by Adele Lim and stars Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Hsu, Sabrina Wu, Ronny Chieng, David Denman, Lori Tan Chinn, Annie Mumolo, Alexander Hodge, Desmond Chiam and Chris Pang. Toko Nagata serves as the project’s music supervisor. The movie follows four unlikely friends who embark on a once-in-a-lifetime international adventure. The comedy premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will be released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Lionsgate.
