Studio Viking has released a soundtrack album for the Canadian family drama Adventures in the Land of Asha (Jules au pays d’Asha). The album features the film’s original music composed by Peter Venne (The Twentieth Century, Les barbares de La Malbaie, Avant qu’on explose). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Adventures in the Land of Asha is co-written and directed by Sophie Farkas Bolla and stars Alex Dupras, Gabie Jourdain, Marilyse Bourke, Kevin Papatie and Emmanuel Schwartz. The movie follows a 9-year-old boy with a rare disease who moves to his uncle’s house in the countryside, where he embarks on an adventure to find a cure with a mysterious new friend. The drama just opened in Canadian theaters this past Friday.
