Shogun Music has released the second soundtrack album for the BBC natural history series Wild Isles. The album features the original music from the show’s second episode (Woodland) composed by George Fenton (Dangerous Liaisons, Gandhi, The Blue Planet, Anna and the King, Groundhog Day, Hitch). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score from the first episode (Our Precious Isles) last week and three more albums are expected to come out over the next couple of weeks. Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the historical drama series Marie Antoinette created by Deborah Davis and starring Emilia Schüle, Louis Cunningham, James Purefoy, Jasmine Blackborow, Jack Archer, Marthe Keller, Gaia Weiss and Crystal Sheperd. The show’s original music is composed by Guillaume Roussel (Black Beauty, 3 Days to Kill, Happy!, The Spy, November). 22D Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the series premiered in France. Also premiering today is the AMC original series Lucky Hank created by Aaron Zelman & Paul Lieberstein and starring Bob Odenkirk, Mireille Enos, Olivia Scott Welch, Diedrich Bader, Sara Amini, Suzanne Cryer and Cedric Yarbrough. Joe Wong (Russian Doll, Master of None, The Midnight Gospel, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) is composing the show’s original music. The pilot episode is scored by Wong & Dave Porter (Breaking Bad). Opening semi-wide in around 800 theaters is the comedy drama Moving On written and directed by Paul Weitz and starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Malcolm McDowell and Richard Roundtree. Amanda Jones (Naomi, Super/Natural, Twenties, Good Trouble, Adventure Time: Distant Lands, Somebody Somewhere) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows two estranged friends who reunite to seek revenge on the petulant widower of their recently deceased best friend, premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released by Roadside Attractions. Atlantic Screen Music will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi action thriller Assassin. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Tewarson (Momentum Generation). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 31 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Alexa’s Theme) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Assassin is co-written and directed by Jesse Atlas and stars Bruce Willis, Nomzamo Mbatha, Dominic Purcell, Andy Allo and Mustafa Shakir.
