Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the family adventure Paddington in Peru. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Dario Marianelli (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Kubo and the Two Strings, Anna Karenina, V for Vendetta, Darkest Hour, Bumblebee) who previously scored 2017’s Paddington 2. Also included is the song Let’s Prepare for Paddington performed by Olivia Colman (who stars as The Reverend Mother). The full details of the soundtrack album for Disney’s animated musical Moana 2 have been revealed. The album features the film’s original songs written by Abigail Barlow & Emily Bear (The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical), Opetaia Foa’i and Mark Mancina (Twister, Tarzan, Bad Boys, Speed, Brother Bear) and performed by voice cast members Auli’i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Awhimai Fraser Rachel House & others, as well as Foaʻi’s Polynesian band Te Vaka. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 22 (click here to order). A CD and vinyl edition is set to come out on January 10, 2025 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Director Robert D. Krzykowski has confirmed in a recent interview with THR that Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, Pandora, The Way of the Gun, Comrade Detective) is set to score the upcoming monster movie Grendel. Jeff Bridges, Dave Bautista, Bryan Cranston, T Bone Burnett, Thomasin McKenzie and Aidan Turner are attached to star in the film, which is based on John Gardner’s novel of the same title and tells the tale of the legendary monster at the heart of the Beowulf epic poem who steps forth to tell his side of this story.
