Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Kominsky Method, CSI :Miami, White House Plumbers, Just Friends) is the score composer of the new HBO limited series Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness . The show is created by Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld) & Jeff Schaffer (Dave, The Dictator) and stars David himself, alongside guests stars including Jon Hamm, Jerry Seinfeld, Isla Fisher, Sean Hayes, Timothy Olyphant, Jane Krakowski, Toby Huss and Joe Manganiello. The 7-parter features comedy sketches (four per episode) about different moments in history. Schaffer is also directing and is executive producing the project with David, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Ethan Lewis (Starting 5) and Vinnie Malhotra (Ghosts of Beirut, The Eyes of Ghana) for Higher Ground. Cardoni has previously collaborated with Schaffer on FX’s The League. Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness will premiere this Friday, June 24 on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Cardoni also continues to score Netflix’s Ransom Canyon, which will return for its second season on July 23, Fox’s Best Medicine, which has been renewed for a second season, as well as CBS’ Ghosts, which will return for a sixth season.
