Reinhold Heil (Cloud Atlas, One Hour Photo, The International, Helix) is composing the show’s original music. ‘Stage Fright’ Soundtrack Details

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror comedy musical Stage Fright. The album features the original songs and score from the film written by the film’s director Jerome Sable and Eli Batalion. Aram Mandossian serves as the movie’s music producer. The soundtrack will be released on September 23, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Stage Fright starring Allie MacDonald, Douglas Smith, Brandon Uranowitz, Minnie Driver and Meat Loaf centers on a teenager with Broadway dreams who sneaks out of the performing arts camp where she works to audition for the summer showcase and lands the lead, only to find herself in the middle of a bloodbath when rehearsals begin. David Williams has recently composed the score for the upcoming psychological thriller The Dorm. The film is directed by Rachel Talalay (Tank Girl, Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare) and stars Alexis Knapp, Cassie Steele and Max Lloyd Jones. The movie follows a student who begins college as a shy, self-consciousness freshman and undergoes a complete transformation into a flawless, seductive beauty at the hands of her new dorm mates. ‘Still Life’ Soundtrack Announced

Kronos Records will release a soundtrack album for the British comedy drama Still Life. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Rachel Portman (Emma, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat). The soundtrack will be released on August 28, 2014. Visit the label’s official website to pre-order the limited edition CD and to check out audio clips. Still Life is directed by the composer’s husband Uberto Pasolini and stars Eddie Marsan, Joanne Froggatt, Karen Drury, Andrew Buchan and Brosnon Webb. The movie centers on a case worker who looks for relatives of those found dead alone. The dramedy premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and was released in Italy last December. Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the action adventure Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles directed by Jonathan Liebesman and starring Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, as well as the voices of Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard and Pete Ploszek. The film’s original music is composed by Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Fast Five). Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music earlier this week. Michael Andrews is composing the music for the upcoming HBO original series Togetherness. The show is created and executive produced by Mark & Jay Duplass and stars Amanda Peet, Melanie Lynskey, Mark Duplass and Steve Zissis. The comedy follows two couples living under the same Los Angeles roof and who are struggling in their relationships while dealing with their individual problems. ‘Dinosaur 13’ Soundtrack Released

Lionsgate Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Dinosaur 13. The album features the film’s original music composed by Matt Morton. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Dinosaur 13 is directed by Todd Miller and follows paleontologist Peter Larson of South Dakota’s Black Hills Institute of Geological Research and his finding of a 65 million year-old tyrannosaurus rex fossil named “Sue.”. John Debney is attached to score Walt Disney Pictures’ upcoming film adaptation of The Jungle Book. The movie is directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Cowboys & Aliens) and stars Neel Sethi as Mowgli. The film’s voice talent includes Bill Murray as Baloo, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, Lupita Nyong’o as Raksha and Christopher Walken as King Louie. The project is a combination of live-action and animation and tells the classic story of an orphan boy who is raised in the Jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear and a black panther. TriStar Pictures has announced that Alan Silvestri is reuniting with Robert Zemeckis on the upcoming drama The Walk. The movie stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ben Kingsley, James Badge Dale, Ben Schwartz, Charlotte Le Bon, Clément Sibony and César Domboy. The film is based on Philippe Petit’s book To Reach the Clouds and tells the true story of the French high-wire artist’s attempt to cross the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974. Zemeckis wrote the screenplay with Christopher Browne and is also producing the project with Steve Starkey (Forrest Gump, Contact) and Jack Rapke (Cast Away, Flight, Matchstick Men).
