Oblique Music has released a soundtrack album for the Danish drama Hercules Falling (Herkules falder). The album features the film’s original music composed by Christoph M. Kaiser & Julian Maas (The People vs. Fritz Bauer, Someday We’ll Tell Each Other Everything, The Silent Revolution, Two Lives, 3 Days in Quiberon). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ title track after the jump. Hercules Falling is co-written and directed by Christian Bonke and stars Dar Salim, Christine Gjerulff, Thomas Abrigo and Hector Banissi. The movie tells the story of a battle-worn veteran haunted by the aftermath of combat, who gets sent to a veteran rehabilitation retreat on a remote island, where he embarks on a journey of self-discovery, connecting with fellow veterans and committing to therapy.

Pol Pot Dancing is directed by Enrique Sánchez Lansch and interweaves the stories of classical Cambodian dance and the violent Khmer Rouge regime through the lineage and multigenerational legacy of star dancer Chea Samy.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action comedy Bad Boys: Ride or Die directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah and starring Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Alexander Ludwig, Eric Dane, Vanessa Hudgens, Ioan Gruffudd and Joe Pantoliano. The film’s original score is composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Bad Boys for Life, His Dark Materials, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Adam, The Wheel of Time, The LEGO Batman Movie). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music today and Epic Records has released a separate album featuring the songs from the movie by Black Eyed Peas, El Alfa, Becky G, J.I.D, 21 Lil Harold, ScarLip & others. ‘The Silent Revolution’ (‘Das schweigende Klassenzimmer’) Soundtrack Released
Colosseum Records has released a soundtrack album for the German drama The Silent Revolution (Das schweigende Klassenzimmer). The album features the film’s original music composed by Christoph M. Kaiser & Julian Maas (The People vs. Fritz Bauer, Two Lives). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the track list. The Silent Revolution is directed Lars Kraume and stars Leonard Scheicher, Tom Gramenz, Lena Klenke, Jonas Dassler, Isaiah Michalski, Ronald Zehrfeld and Carina Wiese. The movie is based on the book by Dietrich Garstka and follows a group of sixth-grade pupils who decide to show their solidarity with the victims of the 1956 Hungarian uprising by staging a minute’s silence during lessons.

Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Kubo and the Two Strings directed by Travis Knight and featuring the voices of Charlize Theron, Art Parkinson, and Ralph Fiennes, George Takei, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Brenda Vaccaro, Rooney Mara and Matthew McConaughey. The film’s original music is composed by Dario Marianelli (Atonement, The Boxtrolls, Pride and Prejudice, V for Vendetta) has composed the film’s original music. Warner Bros. Also opening wide is the action comedy War Dogs directed by Todd Phillips and starring Jonah Hill, Miles Teller, Ana de Armas and Bradley Cooper. Cliff Martinez (Drive, Contagion, Traffic, The Neon Demon, The Lincoln Lawyer) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a soundtrack album. War Dogs follows two friends in their early 20s during the Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts. Colosseum Records will release a soundtrack album for the historical thriller The People vs. Fritz Bauer (Der Staat gegen Fritz Bauer). The album features the film’s original music composed by Julian Maas & Christoph M. Kaiser. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 1, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The People vs. Fritz Bauer is directed by Lars Kraume and stars Burghart Klaussner, Ronald Zehrfeld, Lilith Stangenberg, Jörg Schüttauf, Sebastian Blomberg, Michael Schenk and Laura Tonke. The movie chronicles the herculean efforts of German district attorney Fritz Bauer to bring Nazi war criminal Adolph Eichmann to justice.
