Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the family comedy Moms’ Night Out. The album features the film’s original score composed by Marc & Steffan Fantini (Criminal Minds, Army Wives). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 12, 2014 on iTunes. Moms’ Night Out is directed by Andrew & Jon Erwin (October Baby) and stars Sarah Drew, Sean Astin, Patricia Heaton, Alex Kendrick, Robert Amaya, Abbie Cobb, Andrea Logan White, Kevin Downes, Harry Shum Jr. and Trace Adkins. The TriStar Pictures production follows the busy lives of three mothers as they attempt to have one celebratory night on the town, only to have it turn into complete chaos. Conrad Pope to Score Steven Spielberg-Produced ABC Series ‘The Whispers’

Conrad Pope is set to score the upcoming ABC drama The Whispers . The show is created by Soo Hugh and stars Lily Rabe, Barry Sloane, Derek Webster, Milo Ventimiglia, Brianna Brown, Kylie Rogers, Kyle Harrison Breitkopf and Catalina Deni. The series is based on the short story Zero Hour by Ray Bradbury and chronicles the race against the clock to defeat an unseen alien enemy out to achieve world domination using the planet’s most unlikely resource: the children. Steven Spielberg is executive producing the ABC Studios and Amblin Entertainment production with Hugh, Justin Falvey & Darryl Frank (The Americans, Under the Dome, Falling Skies) and Dawn Olmstead (Prison Break). La-La Land Records has released the world premiere soundtrack album for Paramount Pictures’ 1996 thriller Eye for an Eye directed by John Schlesinger and starring Sally Field, Ed Harris and Kiefer Sutherland. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, King Kong, The Sixth Sense, The Fugitive, Signs, Maleficent), including several tracks that were unused in the movie, as well as two alternate cues as bonus tracks. EMI Nashville in conjunction with Relativity Music will release a soundtrack album for the romantic drama The Best of Me. The album features the original song I Did With You by Lady Antebellum (co-written with Monty Powell) inspired by the story in the film, which is already available as a single on iTunes. Also included are songs by Hunter Hayes, David Nail, Colbie Caillat, Kip Moore and the Eli Young Band. The soundtrack will be released on October 7, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Best of Me based on the bestselling novel by Nicholas Sparks and directed by Michael Hoffman stars James Marsden, Michelle Monaghan, Luke Bracey, Liana Liberato, Sebastian Arcelus and Gerald McRaney. David Hirschfelder Scoring Russell Crowe’s ‘The Water Diviner’

David Hirschfelder has recently recorded his score for the upcoming historical drama The Water Diviner. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Russell Crowe who also stars in the film as an Australian farmer who – four years after Turkey’s Battle of Gallipoli during World War I – travels to Istanbul to discover the fate of his sons who are reported missing in action. Olga Kurylenko, Jai Courtney and Isabel Lucas are co-starring. Andrew Knight and Andrew Anastasios have written the screenplay. Andrew Mason (Dark City, Adore, I, Frankenstein) and Troy Lum are producing the project for Hopscotch Features, alongside Keith Rodger for Crowe’s Fear of God Films. Lakeshore Records has announced a new soundtrack release for the British animated feature Postman Pat: The Movie. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Hotel Rwanda, Over the Hedge, Click, Bee Movie, Winter’s Tale). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 23, 2014 and physically on October 21. Audio clips will be added to this article soon. Polydor has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the film’s songs, as well as a suite from Gregson-Williams’ score overseas earlier this year. Postman Pat: The Movie is directed by Mike Disa and features the voice talent of Ronan Keating, Rupert Grind, Stephen Mangan, Jim Broadbent, Kate Winslet and David Tennant. A soundtrack album has been released for the Norwegian drama Beatles. The album features the film’s original score composed Magne Furuholmen who is best known as a member of the pop group a-ha. Also included are cover versions of the classic Beatles songs Come Together by Apparatjik (feat. Icona Pop & Erik Hassle) and Yesterday by Furuholmen hied by Peter Flinth is based on the bestselling novel by Lars Saabye Christensen and tells the story about four Norwegian youngsters growing up in the 60s and 70s, modeling themselves on their musical heroes: The Beatles. Jon Brion has been tapped to score the upcoming crime drama The Gambler. The film is directed by Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Escapist) and stars Mark Wahlberg, Jessica Lange, Brie Larson, Michael K. Williams, John Goodman and Emory Cohen. The movie is a remake of the 1974 film of the same title written by James Toback and starring James Caan and follows a literature professor with a gambling problem whose vices cause his life to spiral out of control. William Monahan (The Departed, Kingdom of Heaven, Body of Lies) has written the screenplay.
