La-La Land Records will release the world premiere score soundtrack album for the Fox animated hit series Family Guy. The album features selections from the original music from the show’s first four seasons composed by Walter Murphy (Ted, Ted 2, American Dad!) and Ron Jones (American Dad!, Duck Tales, Star Trek: The Next Generation). Family Guy: Movement I is limited to 5000 copies and will be available to order on June 21 on the label’s official website. The CD is also available to order on Amazon. Family Guy is created by Seth MacFarlane and features the voices of MacFarlane himself, as well as Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Lacey Chabert, Mila Kunis, Mike Henry and Patrick Warburton. Benjamin Wallfisch is currently scoring the upcoming supernatural horror thriller A Cure for Wellness. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Ring) and stars Dane DeHaan, Mia Goth, Jason Isaacs and Celia Imrie. The movie follows a man who is sent to rescue his boss from a European wellness spa and soon realizes that he’s trapped and discovers that the facility has a more sinister purpose than just serving the healthy needs of it patients. Justin Haythe (Revolutionary Road, The Lone Ranger) has written the screenplay. The drama follows an American girl who, when abroad in London, becomes the prime suspect in the savage murder of her roommate. ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ Soundtrack Released

Rusted Wave has released a soundtrack album for David Wain’s 2001 cult comedy Wet Hot American Summer. The album features the film’s original music composed by Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears Prada, Ghostbusters, Tropic Thunder, St. Vincent) and Craig Wedren (School of Rock, Role Models). Also included are the songs from the film written by both composers, as well as Mr. Blue & Chubb Rock’s Summer in America, as well as Peter Salett’s end titles song. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes. A vinyl edition is set to be released on July 22, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Wet Hot American Summer is created by Wain and Michael Showalter who also stars in the film alongside Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Molly Shannon, Paul Rudd, Christopher Meloni, Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Zak Orth, and A. Giorgio Moroder and Raney Shockne have been hired to score the upcoming crime thriller Tomboy, a Revenger’s Tale. The film is directed by Walter Hill (48 Hrs., The Warriors, Last Man Standing, Red Heat) and stars Michelle Rodriguez, Sigourney Weaver, Tony Shalhoub, Anthony LaPaglia and Caitlin Gerard. The movie follows an assassin, who is double crossed by gangsters and finds himself in the hands of a rogue surgeon who turns him into a woman. Hill has also written the screenplay with Denis Hamill (Critical Condition). Saïd Ben Saïd (Carnage, Passion) is producing the project with Michael Merkt (Maps to the Stars, Elle). Brian Tyler is set to return as the composer for the upcoming action sequel Fast 8. The film is directed by F. They are joined by Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood. No plot details have been announced yet. Chris Morgan (Wanted) who scripted the last four installments returns as the screenwriter. The show’s original music is composed by David Buckley (The Nice Guys, Jason Bourne, The Forbidden Kingdom, From Paris with Love) who previously scored CBS’ The Good Wife for the creators.
