Universal Music has released a soundtrack album for Stephen Frears’ biographical drama The Program. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, State of Play, The Rite). Also included are the songs from the movie by artists including Ramones, Primal Scream, Lemonheads, Leonard Cohen & more.The soundtrack is now available digitally overseas. The Newton Brothers Scoring Mike Flanagan’s ‘Hush’

The Newton Brothers have composed the music for the upcoming horror thriller Hush. The film is written and directed by Mike Flanagan and stars John Gallagher Jr., Michael Trucco, Kate Siegel (who also co-wrote the screenplay) and Samantha Sloyan. No plot details have been announced yet. Trevor Macy (The Raven, The Cold Light of Day) is producing the project for Intrepid Pictures, alongside Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, The Purge) for his Blumhouse production company. Premiering tonight is the TV movie Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise directed by Robert Harmon and starring Tom Selleck, William Devane, Gloria Reuben, Leslie Hope and Luke Perry. Stephen Endelman is reuniting with director Raymond De Felitta on the upcoming ABC mini-series Madoff. The drama stars Richard Dreyfuss as Bernie Madoff, Blythe Danner as his wife Ruth, alongside Frank Whaley, Charles Grodin, Erin Cummings, Tom Lipinski, Lyne Renee and Lewis Black. The series follows the rise and fall of the former investment advisor and convicted felon, and the subsequent fallout on his family, associates and investors. Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the horror comedy Goosebumps directed by Rob Letterman and starring Jack Black, Dylan Minnette, Odeya Rush, Amy Ryan, Jillian Bell, Ryan Lee and Ken Marino. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, Alice in Wonderland, Avengers: Age of Ultron). Sony Classical and Madison Gate Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music. Also opening wide is the spy thriller Bridge of Spies directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks, Mark Rylance, Scott Shepherd, Amy Ryan, Sebastian Koch and Alan Alda. Thomas Newman (American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, Finding Nemo, Skyfall) has composed the film’s original music. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the Academy Award-nominated composer today. ‘Jem and the Holograms’ Soundtrack Details

Atlantic Records and Schoolboy Records will release the official soundtrack album for Jem and the Holograms. The album features the songs from the movie by the film’s title group, including the first single from the release, Youngblood, a collaboration between the group and Hilary Duff, as well as tracks by Hailee Steinfeld, Dawin, Marian Hill and Ida Marie. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 23, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Jem and the Holograms is directed by Jon M. Chu and stars Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, Aurora Perrineau, Hayley Kiyoko, Ryan Guzman, Molly Ringwald and Juliette Lewis.
