Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action adventure The Legend of Tarzan directed by David Yates and starring Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Djimon Hounsou, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent and Christoph Waltz. The film’s original music is composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Over the Hedge, Bee Movie, Hotel Rwanda, Click). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two original songs by Hozier and Zoe Mthiyane. Also opening wide is the fantasy adventure The BFG directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Mark Rylance, Ruby Barnhill, Jemaine Clement, Rebecca Hall, Penelope Wilton, Rafe Spall and Bill Hader. John Williams (Star Wars, E.T., Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws) has composed the film’s original music.
