Ian Hultquist is composing the music for the upcoming thriller Assassination Nation. The film is written and directed by Sam Robinson (Another Happy Day) and stars Bella Thorne, Maude Apatow, Bill Skarsgard, Joel McHale, Colman Domingo, Suki Waterhouse, Odessa Young, and Hari Nef. The movie follows four teenage girls in a small suburb who become the focus of unwanted, worldwide media attention when their personal information is leaked by an anonymous hacker.

Weekly Film Music Roundup (June 9, 2017)
Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the fantasy adventure The Mummy directed by Alex Kurtzman and starring Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance and Russell Crowe. The film’s original music is composed by Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Now You See Me, Thor: The Dark World). Back Lot Music has released a digital deluxe edition soundtrack today and will release a CD version next week. Also opening wide is the horror thriller It Comes at Night written and directed by Trey Edward Shults and starring Joel Edgerton, Christopher Abbott, Carmen Ejogo, Riley Keough and Kelvin Harrion Jr. Brian McOmber (Krisha, A Teacher, Ugly) has composed the film’s original music. ‘Miles’ Soundtrack Released
MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Miles. The album features the film’s original music composed by Justin Bell & Jonathan Levi Shanes. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Miles is directed by Nathan Adloff and stars Molly Shannon, Tim Boardman, Paul Reiser, Missi Pyle, Yeardley Smith and Stephen Root. The movie tells the story of a young man who after discovering his recently deceased father had squandered his tuition fund and desperate to get out of his small town joins the girls’ volleyball team to earn a college scholarship.
