A soundtrack album will be released for the assassination thriller The Chosen (El Eledigo). The album features the film’s original music composed by Arnau Bataller ([REC] 4: Apocalypse, A Perfect Day, Summer Camp). The soundtrack will be released physically on August 31, 2016. The Chosen is written and directed by Antonio Chavarrias and stars Alfonso Herrera, Hannah Murray, Henry Goodman, Julian Sands, Elvira Minguez, Alejandro Calva and Brontis Jodorowsky.. Premiering tonight is the Syfy original movie Sharknado: The 4th Awakens directed by Anthony C. Ferrante and starring Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Ryan Newman, Cassie Scerbo, Tommy Davidson and David Hasselhoff. Christopher Cano and Chris Ridenhour who previously co-scored the second and third part in the series have composed the film’s original music. Christopher Lennertz is officially set to compose the original score for the upcoming action comedy Baywatch. The film is directed by Seth Gordon (The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, Four Christmases) and stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson. The movie is based on the hit TV series, which premiered in 1989 and follows two unlikely prospective lifeguards who vie for jobs alongside the buff bodies who patrol a beach in California. The album features a selection of songs from the second season of the show by artists including Bishop Briggs, Mike Posner, That Poppy, Midnight to Monaco, Astrid Palmer, Keke Palmer & more. Howe Records to Release Howard Shore’s ‘Se7en’ and ‘Denial’ Scores

Howe Records will release the world premiere score release for David Fincher’s 1995 thriller Se7en starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, John C. McGinley, R. Lee Ermey and Kevin Spacey. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, The Aviator, The Silence of the Lambs, Hugo, The Hobbit). The soundtrack will be released on September 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. TVT Records has previously released the 1995 original soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie, as well as two tracks from Shore’s score. Adrian Belew’s Soundtrack for Pixar’s ‘Piper’ to Be Released

Walt Disney Records will release the original music for Pixar’s animated short Piper. The film’s score is composed by Adrian Belew who is best known as the guitarist and vocalist of the progressive rock band King Crimson. Jake Monaco (Let’s Be Cops, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie) has arranged and orchestrated the music. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow and will be available to download on Amazon. Piper is directed by Alan Barillaro and follows a beach-dwelling bird who encounters a small hermit crab who teaches her the way of the waves. The short is currently playing in theaters nationwide in front of Pixar’s Finding Dory.
