Carter Burwell is reuniting with Martin McDonagh on the upcoming comedy drama Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The film is written and directed by McDonagh and stars Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, Abbie Cornish, Peter Dinklage, John Hawkes and Caleb Landry Jones. The movie revolves around a woman whose daughter is murdered and then goes to war with the police in her hometown because she thinks they are not interested in pursuing justice. Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC Earth documentary series Planet Earth. The album features the show’s main theme composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Inception, Interstellar), as well as the series’ original music written by Jacob Shea (Through the Wormhole, Sparks) and Jasha Klebe (Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The soundtrack will be released on November 11, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Newton Brothers are reteaming with director Mike Flanagan on the upcoming thriller Gerald’s Game. The film starring Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, Henry Thomas, Carel Struycken, Kate Siegel and Chiara Aurelia is based on Stephen King’s 1992 novel of the same title and . Flanagan also co-wrote the screenplay with Jeff Howard. Trevor Macy (The Raven, The Cold Light of Day) is producing the project for Intreped Pictures. The Newton Brothers have previously collaborated with Flanagan on his previous four features, including Oculus, Before I Wake, Hush and Ouija: Origin of Evil and also scored Intrepid’s upcoming thriller The Bye Bye Man. Adam Peters is scoring the upcoming war drama Sand Castle. The film is directed by Fernando Coimbra (A Wolf at the Door) and stars Henry Cavill, Nicholas Hoult, Tommy Flanagan, Neil Brown Jr, Glen Powell and Logan Marshall-Green. The movie is set during the occupation of Iraq and follows a squad of U.S. soldiers who try to protect a small village. Chris Roessner wrote the screenplay based on his experience as a machine gunner in the Iraq Sunni Triangle. Trevor Morris has been tapped to score Marvel’s upcoming Netflix original series Iron Fist. The show is developed by Chris Buck (Dexter) based on the Marvel Comics property and stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey and Rosario Dawson. The drama centers on billionaire Danny Rand who mysteriously returns to New York City 15 years after he was presumed dead and tries to reconnect with his past, but when a long-destined enemy rises, he turns to his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. ‘Scream 2’ Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Announced

Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD club series. Among the new titles is a deluxe edition soundtrack for Wes Craven’s 1997 horror sequel Scream 2 starring Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Jamie Kennedy, Liev Schreiber, Timothy Olyphant, Jerry O’Connell and Laurie Metcalfe. The album features the complete original score composed and conducted by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, The Wolverine, World War Z, The Hurt Locker) who also scored the other installments in the series, including more than 50 minutes of previously unreleased music. Also included are Danny Elfman’s Cassandra Aria and Cassandra Reprise composed for the movie.
