Lakeshore Records has announced the first soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Grace & Frankie. The album features a selection of songs from the show by artists including Aretha Franklin, Mavis Staples, Sufjan Stevens, Aaron Neville, The Mamas & The Papas, Nico Vega & more. Also included is the main titles theme Stuck in the Middle with You performed by Grace Potter, as well as four tracks from the series’ score by Michael Skloff and Sam KS. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy All Nighter. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alec Puro (The Art of Getting By, The Fosters, Sweet/Vicious, Higher Ground). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, March 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. All Nighter is directed by Gavin Wiesen and stars J.K. Simmons, Emile Hirsch, Analeigh Tipton, Taran Killam and Kristen Schaal. The movie follows an alcaholic father who attempts to visit his daughter during a layover in LA, only to discover that she’s disappeared, and is forced to team up with her awkward ex-boyfriend to find her over the course of one transformative night. David Shire (All the President’s Men, The Conversation, Zodiac, Short Circuit) has recently scored the upcoming indie drama Love After Love. The film is directed by Russell Harbaugh and stars Chris O’Dowd, Andie MacDowell, James Adomian, Juliet Rylance, Dree Hemingway and Gareth Williams. The movie revolves around a mother and her two adult sons as they deal with the death of their family’s patriarch. Harbaugh also co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Mendelsohn. Thomas Newman has composed the music for the main titles sequence of the new Netflix docu-series Five Came Back. Jeremy Turner has written the score for all episodes. The show is directed by Laurent Bouzereau and written by Mark Harris based on his best-selling book of the same title. The 3-parter is narrated by Meryl Streep tells the story of how Hollywood changed World War II – and vice versa, through the interwoven experiences of five filmmakers who interrupted their successful careers to serve their country: John Ford, William Wyler, John Huston, Frank Capra, and George Stevens. The drama is set in 18th century London and centers on a woman who struggles to reconcile her roles as brothel owner and mother to her daughters.
