Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the heist thriller King of Thieves. The album features the film’s original music composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, A Cure for Wellness, Annabelle: Creation, Lights Out). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 14 (click here to download). A vinyl version is currently set to come out on November 9, 2018 and is available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, the song The Man performed by Jamie Cullum as featured in the movie’s credits is already available to download. King of Thieves is directed by James Marsh and stars Michael Caine, Tom Courtenay, Ray Winstone, Jim Broadbent, Charlie Cox, Paul Whitehouse, Michael Gambon and Francesca Annis.

Johann Johannsson Scoring James Marsh’s ‘Deep Water’
Johann Johannsson is reuniting with director James Marsh on the upcoming drama Deep Water. The film stars Colin Firth as fated amateur yachtsman Donald Crowhurst, alongside Rachel Weisz, David Thewlis, Ken Stott, and Jonathan Bailey. The movie chronicles Crowhurst’s attempt to complete the Sunday Times Golden Globe Race in 1968 and his subsequent attempts to cover up his failure. Scott Z. Burns (The Bourne Ultimatum, Contagion) has written the screenplay and is also producing the project with Pete Czernin and Graham Broadbent (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, In Bruges). Johannsson has previously collaborated with Marsh on 2013’s Theory of Everything, for which the composer received the Golden Globe and an Academy Award nomination.
