The show is created by Michael Patrick King (Sex and the City, 2 Broke Girls) & RuPaul Charles who also stars in the series alongside Izzy G, Josh Segarra, Michael-Leon Wooley, Katerina Tannenbaum and Tia Carrere. The comedy follows a down-on-her-luck drag queen traveling across America in a van with a tough-talking 11-year-old stowaway.

‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’ Theme Song ‘Warriors’ Released
Back Lot Music has released the theme song for the Netflix animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. The track, entitled, Warriors, is written by Kari Kimmel and performed by Aaliyah Rose and is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is developed by Noelle Stevenson based on the classic 1980s show and features the voices of Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, AJ Michalka, Marcus Scribner, Reshma Shetty and Lorraine Toussaint. The show revolves around soldier Adora as she finds a magic sword – and her identity as legendary hero She-Ra.
Soundtrack Album for BBC’s ‘Les Miserables’ TV Series to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC/PBS limited series Les Miserables. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by John Murphy (Sunshine, 28 Days Later.., Snatch, Millions, Kick-Ass). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 3, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Les Miserables is developed by Andrew Davies based on Victor Hugo’s novel and stars Dominic West, David Oyelowo, Lily Collins, Adeel Akhtar, Olivia Colman, Ellie Bamber, Josh O’Connor and Erin Kellyman. The 6-parter follows Valjean and policeman Javert’s cat-and-mouse relationship, against the backdrop of France at a time of civil unrest.
CBS All Access’ ‘Why Women Kill’ & ABC’s ‘Happy Accident’ to Feature Music by Mateo Messina
Mateo Messina (Juno, Blockers, Superstore, Barely Lethal) has been tapped to compose the music for the upcoming CBS All Access original series Why Women Kill. The show is created by Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives, Devious Minds) and stars Ginnifer Goodwin, Lucy Liu, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Alexandra Daddario, Jack Davenport, Sadie Calvano, Reid Scott and Sam Yaeger. The comedy drama details the lives of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the ‘60s, a socialite in the ‘80s and a lawyer in 2018, each dealing with infidelity in her marriage.
Cristobal Tapia de Veer to Score Amazon’s ‘The Hunt’
Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Utopia, The Girl with All the Gifts, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, National Treasure) has signed on to score the upcoming Amazon original series The Hunt. The show is created by David Weil and stars Al Pacino, Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Lena Olin, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Tiffany Boone, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Greg Austin, and Dylan Baker. The drama follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City who have discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S.
‘Cobra Kai’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Details
Madison Gate Records will release a new soundtrack album for the YouTube Premium series Cobra Kai. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Leo Birenberg (Son of Zorn, Red Army, Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny) & Zach Robinson (F*&% the Prom). Also included is Kari Kimmel’s cover of Bananarama’s Cruel Summer as featured in the Season 2 teaser trailer. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 24 and will be available to download here. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score for the first season (with La-La Land Records handling the CD version). Cobra Kai is developed by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg and stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Xolo Mariduena, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser and Courtney Henggeler.

ABKCO Records has released a soundtrack album for The Durrells. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Harry Brown, Collateral, Victoria) & Jon Wygens (Flying Blind). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released Barrett’s theme song from the series. The Durrells is created by Simon Nye and stars Keeley Hawes, Josh O’Connor, Callum Woodhouse, Daisy Waterstone and Milo Parker. The drama is based on Gerald Durrell’s memoirs and tell the story of a woman who makes a radical change and uproots her four unruly children from Bournemouth, England to start a new life in Corfu in the 1930s.

Premiering tomorrow, April 22, is the HBO and BBC series Gentleman Jack created by Sally Wainwright and starring Suranne Jones, Sophie Rundle, Gemma Whelan, Timothy West, Jeremy Lister and Gemma Jones. The show’s original music is composed by Murray Gold (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Death at a Funeral, A Very English Scandal). ‘Hostile Planet’ Vol. 2 Soundtrack Album Released
Milan Records has released the second soundtrack album for the National Geographic docu-series Hostile Planet. The album features more music from the show composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Shazam!, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, Hellboy). The Vol. 2 album, entitled Jungles and Grasslands, is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The first album (Mountains and Oceans) was released earlier this month and a third album (Deserts and Polar) will be coming out next month. Hostile Planet hosted by Bear Grylls and executive produced by Guillermo Navarro looks at animals surviving at the extremes of different environments, in mountains, oceans, grasslands, jungles, deserts, and polar regions.
H. Scott Salinas’ & Reza Safinia’s ‘Warrior’ Main Title Theme Released
Milan Records has released the main title theme for the new Cinemax original series Warrior. The theme is written by the show’s composers H. Scott Salinas (A Private War, Cartel Land, The Ballad of Lefty Brown) & Reza Safinia (Filly Brown, The Trust) who previously co-scored the feature Birth of the Dragon. The track is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon.
