Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Icelandic TV series Trapped. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Hildur Guðnadóttir (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Joker, Mary Magdalene), Rutger Hoedemaekers and Johann Johannsson (Arrival, The Theory of Everything, Sicario). The soundtrack is now available to download overseas and will be released in U.S. stores on May 24 (click here to download the album) Trapped is created by Baltasar Kormakur (Everest, 101 Reykjavík) and stars Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Bjarne Henriksen, Ingvar E Sigurðsson, Ilmur Kristjánsdóttir, Nína Dögg Filippusdóttir and Björn Hlynur Haraldsson. The RKV Studios production follows a troubled cop as he investigates murders in his small Icelandic town.

‘Cloak & Dagger’ Season 2 Score Album Details
Marvel Music and Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for Marvel’s Freeform’s original series Cloak & Dagger. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Mark Isham (Crash, Once Upon a Time, A River Runs Through It, Miracle, The Accountant). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow and will be available to download here. The labels have previously released a score album featuring the composer’s score from the first season, as well as a separate soundtrack featuring songs from the drama. Season 2 of Cloak & Dagger developed by Joe Pokaski based on the Marvel Comic characters created by Bill Mantlo & Ed Hannigan and starring Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, Andrea Roth, Gloria Reuben, Miles Mussenden, Carl Lundstedt, Emma Lahana, Jaime Zevallos and J.D. Evermore currently airs Thursday nights on Freeform.
First Track from HBO’s ‘Chernobyl’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Deutsche Grammophon will release the official soundtrack album for the HBO mini-series Chernobyl. The show’s original music is composed by Hildur Gudnadottir (Joker, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Mary Magdalene, Strong Island). A first track from the composer’s score (Bridge of Death) will be released as a digital single tomorrow (click here to download). The details of the full soundtrack album are expected to be announced soon. Chernobyl is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin, directed by Johan Renck and stars Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgård and Emily Watson.
David Buckley Scoring CBS’ ‘Evil’
David Buckley is reuniting with writers/producers Robert & Michelle King on the CBS supernatural drama pilot Evil. The show starring Katja Herbers, Mike Colter and Michael Emerson centers on a skeptical female forensic psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work. The Kings are also executive producing the CBS Television production with Liz Glotzer (Bernie, The Mist, Music and Lyrics).
Laura Karpman Scoring Spectrum Originals’ ‘L.A.’s Finest’
Laura Karpman (Underground, Step, Set It Up, Paris Can Wait, Taken mini-series, Black Nativity) is the composer of the new Spectrum Originals series L.A.’s Finest, the first show of Charter Communications’ new premium content initiative. The drama is set in the universe of the Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay Bad Boys franchise and stars Gabrielle Union, Jessica Alba, Zack Gilford, Duane Martin, Ryan McPartlin, Sophie Reynolds and Ernie Hudson. The show follows Syd Burnett (from Bad Boys II) as she has become an LAPD detective and, paired with a new partner, is forced to confront how her unapologetic lifestyle may be masking a greater personal secret.
Sean Callery Scoring National Geographic’s ‘The Hot Zone’
Sean Callery (24, Homeland, Jessica Jones) has composed the original music for the new National Geographic original limited series The Hot Zone. The show is developed by James V. Hart (Hook, Bram Stoker’s Dracula), Jeff Vintar (I, Robot), Kelly Sounders & Brian Peterson (Smallville) and stars Julianna Margulies, Noah Emmerich, Liam Cunningham, Topher Grace, Paul James, Nick Searcy, Robert Wisdom and Robert Sean Leonard. The parter is based on the bestselling novel by Richard Preston and tells the true story about the origins of Ebola, a highly infectious virus from the central African rainforest and its arrival on US soil in 1989.
Soundtrack Album for Sky Atlantic/Amazon Series ‘Tin Star’ Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Sky Atlantic and Amazon original series Tin Star. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Adrian Corker (The Village, Waiting for You). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 17 and will be available to download here. Tin Star is created by Rowan Joffe and stars Tim Roth, Genevieve O’Reilly, Abigail Lawrie, Oliver Coopersmith and Christina Hendricks. The drama centers on a former Metropolitan Police detective who is relocating to the Canadian Rockies with his family to escape a violent past.
Celica Westbrook’s ‘Welcome to Amphibia’ from Disney Channel’s ‘Amphibia’ Released
Walt Disney Records has released the original song Welcome to Amphibia from the Disney Channel animated series Amphibia. The track, which is performed by Celica Westbrook, is now available to download on Amazon. Check out the official music video after the jump. Amphibia is created by Matt Braly (Gravity Falls) and stars Brenda Song and Justin Felbinger. The show follows a 13-year old girl who – after stealing a mysterious music box – is magically transported to the world of Amphibia, a wild marshland full of talking frog-people.
Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s & ITV’s ‘The Widow’ Released
Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the Amazon & ITV original series The Widow. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Dominik Scherrer (The Missing, Requiem, Primeval, Ripper Street). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Widow is created by Harry & Jack Williams and stars Kate Beckinsale, Alex Kingston, Charles Dance and Babs Olusanmokun. The series follows woman who has cut herself off from her previous life but is pulled back to the face that world after seeing her supposedly deceased husband on the news.

Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, April 30, is the anime series Ingress: The Animation based on the eponymous location-enabled game and starring Yoshiki Nakajima, Reina Ueda and Shigeo Kiyama. Jacob Yoffee (Finding Carter, Andi Mack, Best Shot) has composed the music for the global release of the show. The series, which is set after scientists discover a mysterious substance that can influence human minds, and follows two factions wage an all-out battle to control its awesome power, will be available to stream stateside and in most others markets exclusively on Netflix.
