Blake Neely & Sherri Chung are set to compose the music for the upcoming CW drama Batwoman. The show is developed by Caroline Dries & Greg Berlanti based on the DC Comics characters and stars Ruby Rose in the title role, alongside Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Nicole Kang, Rachel Skarsten, Dougray Scott and Elizabeth Anweis. The series centers on Kate Kane as she soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman.

Ruth Barrett Scoring ITV’s & PBS Masterpiece’s ‘Sanditon’
Ruth Barrett is scoring the upcoming ITV and PBS Masterpiece series Sanditon. The show is developed by Andrew Davies (War & Peace, Les Miserables) based on Jane Austen’s novel of the same title and stars Rose Williams, Theo James, Anne Reid, Kris Marshall, Kate Ashfield, Jack Fox, Charlotte Spencer, Lily Sacofsky and Adrian Scarborough. The 8-part period drama tells the story of the joyously impulsive, spirited and unconventional Charlotte Heywood and her spiky relationship with the humorous, charming Sidney Parker.

Premiering on Tuesday, May 14, is the HBO documentary What’s My Name: Muhammad Ali directed by Antoine Fuqua about the boxing legend’s greatest triumphs and comebacks. Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Wonder, The Good Shepherd, The Affair, Ray Donovan, Enough Said) has composed the film’s original music. Andrew Lockington Scoring Netflix’s ‘Daybreak’
This week, Andrew Lockington has been recording his music for the first episodes of the upcoming Netflix original series Daybreak. The show is created by Aron Eli Coleite & Brad Peyton and stars Matthew Broderick, Colin Ford, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute, Gregory Kasyan, Krysta Rodriguez, Cody Kearsley and Jeanté Godlock. The comedy drama is based on the graphic novel by Brian Ralph and follows a teenage outcast who searches for his lost love in a post-apocalyptic world full of zombies and Mad Max-style gangs.
‘Outlander’ Season 4 Soundtrack Details
The full details of the new soundtrack album for the Starz original series Outlander have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on May 31 by Madison Gate Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Fraser’s Ridge) is being released as a digital single today (click here to download). The label has previously released soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s score from the first three seasons of the series. Outlander is created by Ronald D. Moore based on the best-selling books by Diana Gabaldon and stars Caitrona Balfe, Sam Heughan and Tobias Menzies.
Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘Sneaky Pete’ to Be Released
Madison Gate Records will release the first soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Sneaky Pete. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Emmy Award nominee Nathan Barr (True Blood, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, The Americans, Hostel, Cabin Fever) and Stephen Lukach. Also included is the main title theme song Harder Out Here by The Bright Light Social Hour, which has previously been released as a digital single. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 10 and will be available to download here. Sneaky Pete is created by David Shore & Bryan Cranston and stars Giovanni Ribisi, Marin Ireland, Margo Martindale, Shane McRae, Libe Barer, Michael Drayer and Peter Gerety.
Netflix’s ‘Unbelievable’ to Feature Music by Will Bates
Will Bates (I Origins, The Path, Another Earth, The Looming Tower) is the composer of the upcoming Netflix original series Unbelievable. The show is developed by Susannah Grant (Erin Brockovich, Pocahontas), Michael Chabon (John Carter) & Ayelet Waldman and stars Toni Collette, Merritt Wever and Kaitlyn Dever. The drama is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning article by The Marshall Project and ProPublica, An Unbelievable Story of Rape, and follows two detectives whose lives become intertwined in their mutual pursuit of a possible serial rapist.
‘Strike Back’ Season 7 Soundtrack Released
Madison Gate Records has released a new soundtrack album for the British action series Strike Back. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s seventh season composed by Scott Shields & Paul Saunderson (Three Identical Strangers, 100 Streets, The More You Ignore Me). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Varese Sarabande has previously released a soundtrack album featuring Shields’ score from the third and fourth season of the drama. Season 7 of Strike Back starring Daniel MacPherson, Warren Brown, Alin Sumarwata, Jamie Bamber and Yasemin Allen premiered earlier this year in the UK on Sky One and in the U.S. on Cinemax.

Premiering tonight is the Starz limited series The Spanish Princess based on Philippa Gregory’s best-selling novels and starring Charlotte Hope, Nadia Parkes, Aaron Cobham, Alan McKenna, Richard Pepper, Olly Rix, Jordan Renzo, Daniel Cerqueira and Alicia Borrachero. The show’s original music is composed by Samuel Sim (Awake, The Halcyon, Home Fires) and Chris Egan (Man Down). Deutsche Grammophon will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. The main title theme is already available now as a digital single. ‘Hostile Planet’ Vol. 3 Soundtrack Album Released
Milan Records has the third and final soundtrack album for the National Geographic docu-series Hostile Planet. The album features more music from the show composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Shazam!, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, Annabelle Creation). The Vol. 3 album, entitled Deserts and Polar, is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The first album (Mountains and Oceans) was released in early April and the second album (Jungles and Grassland) is now also available. Hostile Planet executive produced by Guillermo Navarro and hosted by Bear Grylls looks at animals surviving at the extremes of different environments, in mountains, oceans, grasslands, jungles, deserts, and polar regions.
