David Buckley is reuniting with writers/producers Robert & Michelle King on the CBS supernatural drama pilot Evil. The show starring Katja Herbers, Mike Colter and Michael Emerson centers on a skeptical female forensic psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work. The Kings are also executive producing the CBS Television production with Liz Glotzer (Bernie, The Mist, Music and Lyrics). Buckley (The Forbidden Kingdom, Papillon, The Gifted, To Paris with Love) has previously collaborated with the creators on CBS’ The Good Wife & BrainDead and CBS All Access’ The Good Fight, which has just been renewed for a fourth season. CBS is expected to announce later this month whether the project will be picked up to series.

Buckley also has the action thriller Angel Has Fallen and the animated feature Arctic Justice coming up.
