Premiering on Wednesday, October 31 is the new CBS All Access original series Tell Me a Story created by Kevin Williamson and starring James Wolk, Billy Magnussen, Dania Ramirez, Danielle Campbell, Paul Wesley and Kim Cattrall. The show’s original music is composed by John Frizzell (Alien: Resurrection, Dante’s Peak, Office Space, The Following, Beavis and Butthead Do America) Check out our scoring assignment announcement to learn more about the series, which will premiere on Halloween with a new episode dropping every week.

Premiering on Friday, November 2 is the new Amazon original series Homecoming created by Eli Horowitz & Micah Bloomberg, directed by Sam Esmail and starring Julia Roberts, Bobby Cannavale, Stephan James, Shea Whigham, Jeremy Allen White, Alex Karpovsky, Sissy Spacek, Dermot Mulroney, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Hong Chau. The show doesn’t feature an original score. Maggie Phillips serves as the project’s music supervisor. The full first season of the show, which follows a caseworker who helps soldiers transition back to civilian life, will be available to stream on Friday on Amazon Prime.

Premiering tonight is the new CW drama Charmed developed by Jessica O’Toole & Amy Rardin and Jennie Snyder Urman and starring Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Ser’Darius Blain, Ellen Tamaki and Rupert Evans. The show’s original music is composed by Will Bates (The Path, The Looming Tower, The Magicians, Nightflyers, I Origins, Another Earth). Also premiering tonight is the HBO original series Camping created by Lena Dunham & Jenni Konner and starring Jennifer Garner, David Tennant, Juliette Lewis, Arturo Del Puerto and Ione Skye. Singer/songwriter Ben Lee is composing the show’s original music. The comedy follows a not-so-happily married couple who outdoor trip to celebrate on of their birthdays is derailed by uninvited guests and forces of nature, turning the weekend into a test of marriage and friendships. Will Bates is scoring the new CW drama Charmed. The show is developed by Jessica O’Toole & Amy Rardin and Jennie Snyder Urman (Jane the Virgin) based on the series, which premiered in 1998 on The WB, and stars Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Ser’Darius Blain, Ellen Tamaki and Rupert Evans. The series follows three sisters in a college town who are stunned to discover they are witches and must stand together to fight the everyday and supernatural battles that all modern witches must face: from vanquishing powerful demons to toppling the patriarchy.

Premiering tonight is the 11th season of BBC’s Doctor Who executive produced by Chris Chibnall, Matt Strevens & Sam Hoyle and starring Jodie Whittaker, Tosin Cole, Mandip Gill and Bradley Walsh. The new season of Doctor Who will air in the U.S. on BBC America and in the UK on BBC One.

Also premiering tonight is the new animated series Star Wars Resistance created by Dave Filoni and featuring the voices of Christopher Sean, Bobby Moynihan, Suzie McGrath, Scott Lawrence, Myrna Velasco, Josh Brener, Donald Faison, Jim Rash and Lex Lang. The show’s original music is composed by Michael Tavera (Drowning Mona, Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Guardians of the Galaxy TV series). ‘The 100’ Season 5 Soundtrack Album Announced

WaterTower Music will release a new soundtrack album for the CW drama The 100. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s fifth season composed by Tree Adams (Californication, NCIS: New Orleans, Perception). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 24 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. The label has previously released soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s score from the series’ third and fourth season. The 100 is developed by Jason Rothenberg based on the book by Kass Morgan stars Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Christopher Larkin, Isaiah Washington, Henry Ian Cusick and Lindsey Morgan.

The CW’s ‘All American’ to Feature Music by Blake Neely

Blake Neely has been tapped to score the upcoming CW drama All American. The show is created by April Blair (Reign) and stars Daniel Ezra, Taye Diggs, Samantha Logan, Bre-Z, Greta Onieogou, Monet Mazur, Michael Evans Behling, Cody Christian and Karimah Westbrook. The series tells the story of a high school football player from South Los Angeles who is recruited to play for a school in Beverly Hills. Blair is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios production with Greg Berlanti & Sarah Schechter and Rob Hardy (Power).

Premiering on Wednesday, July 25, is the Hulu original series Castle Rock developed by Sam Shaw & Dustin Thomason and starring André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgård, Jane Levy and Scott Glenn. Thomas Newman (The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty Finding Nemo) has composed the show’s main titles theme, as well as the first two episodes and Chris Westlake (Before We Go, Small Town Crime) has scored the other eight episodes of the first season. WaterTower Music has released Newman’s main theme and end titles music this past Friday. Check out our previous article for more information.

Also premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday is the Canadian legal drama Burden of Truth created by Brad Simpson and starring Kristin Kreuk, Peter Mooney, Star Slade, Nicola Correia-Damude and David Lawrence Brown. The show’s original music is composed by Ian LeFeuvre (The Detail, Carter) and Benjamin Pinkerton (Lost Girl, Dark Matter). Jody Colero serves as the project’s score producer and Shawn Pierce (The Bridge, Motive) has provided additional score to a few episodes. The series, which follows a big city lawyer who returns to her hometown to take the case of a group of girls suffering from a mysterious illness, aired earlier this year in Canada on CBC and is premiering stateside on The CW.

‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Details

WaterTower Music will release a new soundtrack album for the CW musical comedy drama Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The album features the original songs from the show’s third season written by Rachel Bloom, Adam Schlesinger and Jack Dolgen and performed by cast members including Bloom herself, Donna Lynne Champlin, Vincent Rodriguez III, Scott Michael Foster, Gabrielle Ruiz, Pete Gardner, Vella Lovell, Michael McMillian, David Hull and guest stars Bayne Gibby, Eddie Pepitone, Amy Hill, Paul Welsh & Michael Hyatt. Also included are previously unreleased tracks, including three demo versions, the cut song Settle for Her performed by Foster and writer Ilana Peña’s “earnest version” of The Moment Is Me. Premiering tomorrow, July 16, is the HBO documentary Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind directed by Marina Zenovich about the extraordinary life and career of one of the world’s most beloved and inventive comedians. The film’s original music is composed by Adam Dorn (Kickboxer: Vengeance & Retaliation, Nobodies). The documentary premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is premiering on HBO following a limited theatrical release this past weekend. Premiering on Thursday, July 19, is the horror comedy Office Uprising directed by Lin Oeding and starring Brenton Thwaites, Jane Levy, Karan Soni, Zachary Levi and Alan Ritchson. Tim Jones (Chuck, Human Target, Cult) has composed the film’s original music. The movie tells the the story of an underachiever working at a major weapons manufacturing firm who finds that his co-workers have been “weaponized” by a new energy drink designed for the military. The comedy is premiering in the U.S. exclusively on Crackle.

Mike Suby has recently scored a number of pilots that have been picked up to series, including The CW’s Roswell, New Mexico. The show is developed by Carina Adly MacKenzie based on the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz and stars Jeanine Mason, Nathan Parsons Tyler Blackburn, Lily Cowles, Michael Vlamis and Heather Hemmens. The series follows the daughter of undocumented immigrants who reluctantly returns to her hometown only to discover that her teenage crush is now a police officer and also an alien who has kept his spectacular abilities a secret.
